Future Man (2017)
Goddamn Art
Words fail me. This has been exhilarating. Rarely have laughed out loud this often when watching a show. The amount of love and crazy ideas, that have gone into this would be enough for several shows. Watch this!
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
What have you brought upon this cursed land!?
Looks like an expensive Agents of Shield episode and is written like it's own SNL sketch. Those are the nicest things I have to say about the matter.
I will surely watch this again with friends and bemoan the passing of the 90s or something like that.
True garbage.
The Witcher (2019)
Adult show for kids
At 12 years old this would have killed on a Sunday night, but as an adult I hesitate to find any positive qualities beyond looks and action.
The show is rated 18+ in my country, yet dialogues ane storylines seem to have been made for teens. Everything is spelled out numerous times, which is even more redundant considering how one can simply guess what's going to happen and it will happen.
I really like Cavill, usually, here he's LARPing his way through the show and I find it abysmal.
Super meh.
Jolt (2021)
Don't make me hate the main character
There is a scene in there, where the protagonist does something that simply deserves death and that is endangering babies. Not funny at all and makes me dislike the character to the extent, that I did not want not go on watching after that. Was okay fun until that point.
Blood Red Sky (2021)
Even worse when you speak german
The acting is absolutely abysmal, which may be in part caused by the horrid german dialogue. As usual they did not manage to conjure up even a resemblance of how german people talk, instead it once more sounds like a dubbing of an 80s b-movie. Everything else is kind crap, too. Feeling sorry for Roland Møller, who is constantly underutilized in movies outside of Denmark.
Dogs of Berlin (2018)
Not even enjoyably campy or trashy
Based on absolutely abysmal scripts, the actors, even if wildly talented, could not portray believable characters even if their lives depended on it. The levels of cringe that we get to witness are spine tingling, dialogues sprung directly from the mind of a pubescent author/director, which do not seem to undergo any kind of fact checking or aren't even read aloud befire shooting, that's the only reason I can think up, which would allow such drivel to reach the screen.
People talk like they were in a bad German dub of an 80s movie and there is not a single character to latch onto, they are all cutouts and/or dicks, saying things out loud that would land them serious consequences in real life.
Police work in Germany is portrayed with a blatant disregard for reality, which really just takes the fun out of it and I am sitting here shaking my head at the money and resources wasted, once more, in an attempt to create enticing entertainment in Germany.
If at least it didn't take itself seriously, but it does and that's how it dies.
Black Panther (2018)
Easily the worst of the bunch
Almost no redeeming qualities, plus killing off the most interesting character halfway through the movie.
