Night School (2018)
Great performance
One of the strengths of "Night School" is the chemistry between the cast members. Kevin Hart delivers his trademark comedic style, providing plenty of physical comedy and witty one-liners. The supporting cast, including Tiffany Haddish, Rob Riggle, and Mary Lynn Rajskub, also contribute to the film's humor with their performances. The interactions between the characters often result in comedic situations that generate laughs. The film also touches on some important themes, such as the value of education and the challenges faced by individuals who struggle in traditional educational settings. It attempts to explore the idea that success isn't solely defined by a high school diploma, and that everyone has their own unique path to achievement. These themes add a layer of depth to the story, but unfortunately, they are not fully developed. Despite that, however, the film meets expectations and.
Brahmastra Part One: Shiva (2022)
Disappointing but to be expected
This movie has no substance or the necessary content to be a quality movie. The movie was terrible and lacked direction. There was no coherence, no proper plot. It was almost as if I spent 2hours plus in a wasteland. I am not sure I will get that 2 hours. They appeared to have just decided to slap multiple incoherent subplots together to get to over 2 hours of film. If there was a way to ask to be refunded for the time spent watching this absolutely useless piece of film, I would do so.
However, in terms of visuals, the movie is great but visuals alone do not a movie make. I hope they will put in more effort in part two.

Heart Pounding Action
I absolutely enjoyed watching this flick. I was not disappointed. If it is action you are looking for and a somewhat plausible storyline, then grab your popcorn. You won't be disappointed.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the return of an old face. Great twist there. John Cena's addition to the mix adds to the overall awesomeness of the show.
I also liked that a bit of background about Toretto senior was provided and it threw some light on Dom's hardiness.
The cars!!!! Ooh I just love the beauty of all the cars. Absolutely smashing and oh, expect a lot of destruction.
A great flick. Grab your popcorn. Enjoy.
Black Beach (2020)

Very lovely film. Starts slow but worth the wait. Definitely recommend this.
Sarah Cooper: Everything's Fine (2020)
Absolutely delighted
I was absolutely delighted I came across this gem. A bit tough around the edges but I was couldn't stop watching. Sarah Cooper is a delight to watch!
Line of Duty (2019)
Absolute joy of a film
All I can say is that I am glad I did not read all these reviews here before watching this movie. Seems most reviewers have lost their objectivity. I hereby recommend this movie to all serious minded people.
See You Yesterday (2019)
Excellent movie
I found this very entertaining. Geared more towards teenagers but still it was very interesting.
Blood Bound (2019)
Not a great one
This film was a little too slow and boring. Storyline was also a bit predictable. Still lovers of horror movies would love this anyway.
An Invisible Sign (2010)
Quirky and likable
I thought this was a nice, enjoyable family movie. My kids liked it and I did too. Mona Gray is a 'weirdo-bizzaro' kind of person who seems to find it difficult getting on in life. In fact, her life seems to be lost in translation since her father suffered a nervous breakdown. She does have issues but getting to know other 'weird' people seems to show her a different aspect of life. The film moves along nicely and I think Jessica Alba does a good job with the Mona Gray character. Like Mona says, " there comes a time in your life when you realize you are the person in charge. You are the adult" This a film about growing up and facing up to life's responsibilities, challenging those demons that make you feel worthless. Definitely worth a watch.
Best Laid Plans (2012)
Great tale...lovely film...highly recommend
Where to start from with this film? Any expectations of Hollywood glamor in this film is certain to result in some dissatisfaction as there is none of that. This is purely a British flick, but even at that I was held spellbound from the start till the end. Of course, some would cringe at the story line of exploiting a retarded individual for the purpose of "business", I would tell such people to get real, because such evil exists. People take advantage of the underprivileged everyday and it is not gonna end anytime soon. I believe it took some courage to make a film based on this and I must applaud the performance from all who acted in this film most especially Adewale and Stephen. Well done, great film. 10 out of 10 for an excellent flick.
Takers (2010)
Great caper, nice yarn indeed! Well done!
Exactly the sort of entertainment I needed tonight! I see a lot of people have some bad reviews about this film, but I can't understand why! The acting was good, in my opinion, okay, the drug addict sister was a bit far-fetched and the film could have done without her part, but overall, I liked this movie. It is the sort of movie I would go out and watch and I am definitely gonna be seeing this again. I was disappointed Zoe Soldana dis not have much of a part in the movie. I think T.I. pulled off his part very well and Chris Brown was pretty good with his own part as well. For me, quite a lot worked in this movie from the cinematography, the director was pretty spot on in his direction. I am happy I went to see this.
Henry's Crime (2010)
Outstanding performance from Keanu and Vera
I saw this film reluctantly not knowing what to expect but my wife insisted and yes I certainly have no regrets! Keanu Reeves' Henry was certainly a character I could relate, a small town kind of guy, going through life and watching life speed by but seemingly in slow-motion. I could not stop watching his performance and then the lovely and adorable Vera came on the scene and simply blew me away! What a performance, the way she laughed so easily, the unassuming way she took the news of a bank robbery. James Caan put up a lovely performance also, an ex-con looking forward to spending the remainder of his days in jail, striking up an interesting relationship with Henry, seemed like a breathe of fresh air. henry's naivety is so captivating. I was not quite happy with the way the film ended, but it contained so much substance that i did not mind. Will I see it again? You bet ya!
