The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
regurgitated vomit
Gender swapped garbage. Just like the Wachowski brothers. The story was weak, the fighting choreography was absolutely abysmal and brought me back to the late 80's, far inferior to the original series. Trinity is now more powerful than Neo? Again, more politicized garbage. There is zero back story or foundation, just more recycled footage from the original trilogy. The Wachowski brothers should have left it alone, instead, the Wachowski
sisters? Tried to resurrect something that they should have left dead and done. I haven't seen something more disappointing from them since Jupiter Ascending.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Even the cast couldn't say nice things
Terrible writing. Lazy writing. Bad acting, because of the aforementioned. Super inconsistent plot, even though it was lacking a plot entirely. Bringing back Palpatine because the writing was that terrible and lazy and they couldn't come up with anything original. Again, using an inanimate object to somehow have feelings and memories in a dagger and yet piece of s*** Rey is using the youngling slayer 9000 for 3 movies and yet no feelings with that piece of hardware. These guys are idiots. What a travesty. And Abrams had the tenacity to say that all other works were no longer canon because his new movies are the timeline. What a dumbass. Fire them all and get rid of their insolence.
Dexter: Nebraska (2011)
Terrible CGI and weak plot
Way too much CGI and the quality was pure garbage. This felt like a filler episode that was rushed and the whole writing team was on vacay and the interns took over. Probably the worst episode in the whole series besides the finale.
Fantastic Four (2015)
Fox and Sony execs need to let the real talent control the films
Once again, the clowns behind the desks made all the decisions without reading a single word of the origin material and made another abomination. 3 movies and they didn't learn anything and now the franchise is probably ruined beyond repair. Don't think Marvel can even get the sour taste out of our mouths.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)
So relatable
I've watched this numerous times after each break up and even during relationships and it's so easily relatable and familiar in so many ways. It's a hilarious movie with the perfect scenarios and characters that we can all relate to. And what better place to film a break up movie than in Hawaii? The characters and scenarios are perfect and a great feel good/self-misery movie to watch, regardless what your situation is in life. Either a good comedy or a good "misery loves company" comedy, it's still enjoyable in every scenario I can think of.
