After moving to Phoenix, AZ in 1985 at age 17 to attend Arizona State, Lisa took a job bartending and doing club promotions for “The Mason Jar” a small but infamous rock club where she became friends with most of the up-and-coming 1980’s bands we all know & love today.
By late fall of 1985 a now 18-year-old Lisa transferred to Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, CA to pursue her Art History Degree and began interviewing bands & shooting showcase photos for Music Connection” magazine, while falling into what would become a very successful acting & modeling career throughout the 1980’s. By 1988 RIP Magazine was ready for “promotional models”, what we would today call “brand ambassadors”, to sign up all the young men at concerts for Larry Flynt’s magazines and who better than Lisa & her hot model friends to get the ball rolling on that. Though by the fall of 1991 the tides of music were turning in Los Angeles and everything in the Metal / Glam Rock World was coming to an end hard & fast, Lisa left for New York City where she first worked as a model 1983 - 1985.
As of 2008 Lisa completed her master’s degree in psychology and was just shy of her PhD in Media Psychology in 2018 when she withdrew, relocating to Florida to work on state environmental sustainability programs. As of 2023 Lisa's acting & music career saw a retro surge in popularity as everything 80's became hip again on Instagram and we find Lisa living back in Cleveland, Ohio looking after family and getting back to her rock n roll roots, appearing at several events showcasing musicians, actors, and model’s of 1980s fame.
While the Rock N Roll Hall of fame does not currently have the 1980's exhibit on display, 2 of Lisa's scenes from both "The Decline of Western Civilization 2" & "Rumble", are featured in museum film clips, having run in the museum on and off since its opening in September 1995. With a pending book deal for her autobiography & a You-Tube series expanding to include featured interviews with her famous & infamous friends form the 1980's, Lisa's career is sure to see new heights with her topping the top 10,000 celebrities on IMDB.
