The Little Death (2014)
Just an awesome job has been set here.
Just like I've read here already. This is really a roller-coaster of emotions, because of the many story lines of more couples. Great acting by a lot of actors and not that known, that's what I like about this kind of movies. Not that famous actors who are performing quite well.
Each couple with a different and an unique story behind them. However, I could have seen 120 minutes of film on this one except the 90 - 95 minutes. I think that some viewers, including me, are left behind with some questions about how things are getting closed with some of the couples. Most of them didn't tell their fetishes to their partner. But this is just a small thingy that is recognized by me. That is not very much needed, except for my personal view, I'm wondering how things would have been if they actually ended this movie with they questions answered.
Also, the style used in this film is awesome. The editing, the directing, it just fits.
Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (2014)
Simple movie for the family on a Sunday!
The reason I give this a 5 out of 10 is that this movie is a good one for the kids. A movie with a simple lesson to accept the bad days and enjoy every good one. To be more positive.
About the movie out of my point of view? Well, not that awesome, but you can't expect a lot of this kind of movies. Steve Carell didn't perform at his best, that is obvious, but that wasn't even necessary.
After all, this whole movie was from the point of view of Alexander. Of course they did choose to make it a little childish. I believe the acting was also based on the viewer to be around 5 - 10 years old. Some simple jokes, not a lot of jokes where to use the brain, but more of the eyes.
Ouija (2014)
Terrible. But great to kill time.
Gosh. This was just terrible. Cliché after cliché after cliché. All these made up solutions to make the movie more horror all failed. Just like when Laine asked her sister like: I cant leave you alone so you need to come with me to call for spirits! Like what? Or this 'plot' where not the mother but the daughter is the evil one. Nah, that just came out wrong. Well Debbie was hung by the lights in her room right? When Laine and Pete went back to the house to look in the attic, those lights were hung back again by the police or what? And why Debbie only helped in the end. Right in the middle of that big massive ultra fight between Laine and Doris. Let's ask Lin Shaye to star in this movie, because Insidious was not that bad at all. She played as Paulina in a mental house, but she was just functioning alright I guess, but she was just evil.
I could go one by naming a lot more mistakes or weird happenings in the movie, but I think I've made my point. Great movie if the viewer is bored and wants to kill time.
Tapped Out (2014)
Not that bad
Alright, I was bored and I was in for a fighting movie. This one caught my eye and it could have been worse.
In the beginning I was almost forced to turn off the movie, because of the cheesy storyline and the bad acting. It is just a non original story. I think you could see it more as a bad Never Back Down rip off. It is just a simple storyline were the main character meets his enemy and wants revenge. In the end he makes the right choice by letting the enemy live and so on and on.
The reason I kept watching were the question marks the movie was giving me. The fight scenes were pretty good and that helped a lot. Let's say that the fight scenes are the reason to watch this movie. It keeps the tension high.
Watch this movie when you're bored. If you can't handle bad acting, then it's probably not a good idea to watch this one.
