Dont bother to waste your time
17 April 2020
Yup. Just like my title review, dont bother to waste your time with this. A complete disappointment. I give credit to the beautiful wedding set up. That is gorgeous. But the cast seriously fail to deliver.

Nothing to Like
24 June 2019
I'm sorry. I can't find myself to like this movie. I tried to. But just can't. Once I saw the scene where Marcus try to call Sasha among the photographer during the red carpet, i'm done. I feel that the movie trying to give me the feel from the similar scene from Notting Hill but it failed miserable.

Touching
28 December 2010
Warning: Spoilers
After a long hiatus, I'm actually looking forward for a new movie/drama from Won Bin. And when I find out about Man From Nowhere, I didn't miss a chance to watch this movie.

Cha Tae Sik (Won Bin)is a mystery man who lead a quiet life and own a pawn shop. His neighbor is the girl, So-mi and her heroin addict mother, Hyo-Jeong. The mother smuggles drug from the drug trafficking organization and later murdered by them. So-mi was kidnapped and become one of the kids who work for the drug dealer. This is when we Tae Sik (turn out to be an ex-special agent CHA) deal with the drug dealer in order to save So-mi.

I don't want to go details about the storyline. What I want to highlight is the relationship between Tae Sik and So-mi. That's the part I enjoy the most about this film. You will find the relationship between Tae Sik and So-mi wonderful and heartwarming. It makes me cry when So-mi say "it's okay if the fat boy at school say I'm a Garbage but for you (Tae Sik)to ignore me it's really hurt in here (heart), I don't want to hate you because if I do, then there's no person in this world that I love" The ending also for sure will make everyone cry.

It's a good film and is worth watching especially to Won Bin fan (But there are scenes that you may find it so cruel and disturbing ). And you will definitely love the cute So-mi. She's one great actress.

strange, weird and maybe scary
29 October 2010
Warning: Spoilers
strange, weird, maybe scary Strange and weird in the way how the director portrayed the movie. Every time when the screen show RELOAD and starts typing i feel like my head is spinning. Kind of brainwash by the movie. LOL.

What scare me the most is I'm not used to that kind of bullying people. It's just never crossed my mind. They are just only 14 for the God sake. It's hurt me though to see how Hoshino can do all the bad thing towards his friend. What with the rape, make one of the girl to be prostitute, ask your friend to masturbate, to naked in the mud. Part of me really approved how the movie end (even though that's not the way to teach bad people).

But to be frank, there's something about the film that make me glued to the screen. It's good movie but in a strange, weird and scary way.

Simple as it is
25 October 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Don't expect it's going to be another superb love story. For me, this movie is just simple. A girl fall in love with boy, the boy also fall in love with the girl, just that they don't have the guts to tell their feeling.

Simple as it is, it was brilliantly portrayed by the cast and also by the director. The story divide into chapters, each chapters shows us how the character developed. At the end, I found myself crying with Kishida (Hayato Ichihara) when he read the letter wrote by Aoi Sato(Juri Euno), as Aoi sister, Kana Sato (Yu Aoi)apt his back and said "you're both Baka (Idiot)".

From this movie, you'll learn that you need to do what you need to do before it was too late.

As always, a good one from Yu Aoi
20 October 2010
Warning: Spoilers
I go for the movie because Yu Aoi is in it. She seems to be good in every movie/drama she does. This movie also no exception. Yu-chan deliver brilliantly, as always. (just that I think she should put on some weight)

It's a story about a young girl who has a criminal record and have to bear the discrimination from the society. Even her brother mad at her and think her criminal record will ruin his chances to go to a good school. Therefore, she starts her journey to different places (beach, mountain, another city) and work until she save up 1 million yen before move again to a new place.

As the story progress, the relationship between the siblings also become more meaningful. Suzuko always write to her brother. And at the end her brother also wrote to her, telling that he admired her and will face his life better. This is the part that make me cry. How a brother that seems so selfish at first, actually the one who really taught Suzuko not to run away again.

As for the boyfriend, I really thought he's a total jerk. At the end it was reveal that he borrow money from Suzuko just to prevent Suzuko from saving up 1 million yen. But, I don't get the ending, I really hope that Suzuko and her boyfriend will stay. That's why i vote for 9. If not because of the ending I'll go for 10.

Overall, one of a good movie especially for Yu Aoi fan.
