The Upside (2017)
Pointless.
Well.. hollywood are completely without ideas.
Copy and past.
Star Trek Into Darkness (2013)
Blend Spock = Blend Movie
The great thing about the first movie (Star Trek 2009) was the emotional path faced by the main characters, mostly by Spock (both of them). In this one, Spock are just a sidekick and just don't measure up with the expectations that I had.
The opening scene (comparing it to the one in the first movie) just don't make any sense and do not add anything to the rest of the movie, being irrelevant. The plot doesn't make any sense and looks dumb.
Honestly.. After only a couple days, I barely remember anything but the scene that Khan toke out a ton of romulans. I miss the sword fight, the Spock "Prime", the enterprise phasers, a planet being destroyed, federations ships being blow up....
Khan almost saved the movie.. but he becomes blend too at the end. The last action scene (Spock vs Khan) looks a LOT like a Star Wars Episode 2 scene.. almost a copy.
Overall.. is a blend movie and actually pretty boring in some moments.
Marley & Me: The Puppy Years (2011)
Talking dog with sunglasses. Is this the 90's?
Seriously? A sequel to Marley & Me would have to be written by God to make any sense.. not some bad writers.
This movie is absolutely awful: awful script; awful actors; awful plot..
And a Talking dog with sunglasses??? wth.. i watched 15 min (if i had watched more I probably would be flying to US to kill the producers) and can't do It anymore...
If you liked Marley & Me, DON'T watch this one..
Thanks for trying to destroy one of my favorites movies, Hollywood.. again.
Game of Thrones (2011)
Missing some key scenes..
First of all, English is not my main language, so.. forgive my mistakes.
I read the first book about 6 months ago and i absolutely love it. Drama, war, amazing characters (and a lot), deep and original story. When I first hear about the Adaptation, I was very Happy, because HBO has a great history of making Epic Series (Band of Brothers, The Pacific and many others) and this one can't be different.
After watch the first episode, I was concerned because they rushed too much and I know that people who don't read the book would be lost, like my girlfriend did.. but, they really choose well the actors and the atmosphere was perfect (medieval, but with a nice touch of fantasy).
If the history don't get you attention and you don't try very hard to understand, the first 3 or 4 episodes may be very "boring", because is very hard to understand what is the 7 kingdoms and how big they are..
After watch all the 10 episodes, I was pleased, but some key battle scenes have been changed and bother me: I) the fight of the Tywin Lannister against the small army that Robb Stark send to distract him.. where they adapt the scene in a way that Tyrion Lannister don't made nothing.. just "sleep" thru the whole battle.
II) and the Riverrun Battle, who the series don't show and it is the biggest and complex fight of the First Book (Game of Thrones), where Robb annihilate Jaime Lannister army and capture him..
Anyway.. most of the scenes was a really great adaptation, except the "random porn scenes", with don't seems like medieval nudity.. just regular light porn. I give a 7, because the book is way better.
