I stumbled upon the pilot of this show, which was the only production ever made. I cannot believe this show almost existed in the known world. All of the Canine and dog related jokes and quips are freaking hilarious. Also after some not so extensive review it doesn't seem that Peter Boyle gets hit that hard by the car. Here are some good quotes "I thought my back was hairy before, now look at it!" also "All the hands are good for now is digging up bones" and "It's life precious life, you've been given a second change" The acting in this pilot is also very superb, and the special effects of Poochinski are amazing (comparable to Harry Potter special effects.) I wonder if Peter Boyle is somewhere disguised as a bull dog, I can dream......... Just let me dream.

I watched this movie for the first time over 10 years ago. My cousin and I laughed at the terrible acting and once looking not too much closer, uncovered some hilarious movie mess ups. Not to mention that the soundtrack has one terrible song that keeps playing over and over again. If you watch the part when he is breaking the punching bags that they are clearly pre-ripped. Also when RJ is break dancing at the dance, if you still frame you can clearly see it is a white guy w/ no make-up on. There is also another scene that struck me as strange, after the fight w/ his dad the main character runs to RJ's house and starts knocking on the fence and RJ pops up with a shower cap and sponge, unless he showers outside. All movie mess-ups and cheesiness aside I enjoyed this movie because it kept me laughing throughout the whole thing. I would like to see the actor's paychecks for that movie.
