Was To be Expected
12 April 2024
Not really much of a story. A teacher is having an affair with his student. They decide to run off together. Without any planning whatsoever, they go on the road, living in motel after motel. And have sex. The "relationship" begins to wear on him. It starts with something small. She steals a candy bar. He points out that if she had gotten caught it would have messed up everything. He already told her that he would be the one that would get royally screwed if they got caught. He has to pay cash for everything because credit cards would lead the police to where they were. At one point the car breaks down and she's just waving her feet like a little kid, not realizing the consequences if he wasn't able to fix it. Aside from some guy talking to him at a strip bar about roosters and her meeting a few girls, it is pretty much going from motel room to motel room. What was he planning on doing when the money ran out?

Another Girl (2021)
They shouldn't do this to viewers- waste of time.
4 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
It was sort of okay. The girl develops a relationship with someone who she thinks is an author of a book. She tells her everything about her life. What it was like growing up. Her rotten drug addict father. The abusive boyfriend that she has. She moves out of the house and in with her brother, who is gay. She gets a job and becomes the babysitter for the boss, who tells her everything about his life. They get attracted to each other and then wind up sleeping together. The wife finds his cellphone and says things on it that gives it away that it really isn't him, but she pretends not to know and answers it anyway. Meanwhile she tells her anonymous friend everything. They finally get a chance to meet and the author rents two rooms next to each other near a bar. The author never shows up at the bar and when she goes to the room, the author tells her she's there. When she answers the door there's a bang and everything goes black. Why make a movie that doesn't have an ending? Leaving the viewer hanging? Movies like this just waste everybody's time. No wonder everybody gave it a one.

Too Much Going On
2 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I won't bother with the story outline as it is readily available elsewhere on this site. The assistant to the main character has a date with a guy, drives miles to see him, and later when Maria asks him about him she just says he was a jerk without saying why. So that little trail ends. We finally get to meet the actress with the bad reputation, Jo Ann Ellis, who is to play the younger lesbian when the movie is almost over. There is some good interaction between her and the lead. . You'd think there would be more between her and the assistant Valentine, who really admires her, but no. In fact the assistant who played such a central role in most of the movie isn't even seen any more. The younger actress Jo-Ann Ellis is having an affair with a guy who just left his wife- who then attempts suicide. Another sub-plot that's thrown in for some reason that never gets fleshed out because it's too late in the movie. The main character has a slight disagreement with the younger actress on how to play a scene and then it's over, after the two main characters had been discussing the two main characters for most of the film, and we don't get to see anything of the play.

It's like there's a big buildup for something throughout the film and then nothing happens.

Another Waste Of Time
30 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I'm not a fan of footage films but I didn't really take it that way at the beginning so I became interested. Someone has set up devices all through the guy's house and is watching everything he and his wife does. Then his wife is nowhere to be found and supposedly left a note saying she needs time to clear her head. I guess he drank a lot at one time because his sister-in-law is not too friendly toward him and mentions some things he did. He looks up an old friend that he turned against thinking it was him doing it as revenge. The cat he has growls at him and he thinks its a different cat. I'm surprised the cop doesn't think he's nuts. He does find a cat's head in his mailbox and puts it in his freezer but it's gone when the cop comes. It's really a waste of time because you never find out who is doing this to him or why. I hate movies that don't have a proper ending. That's why I rated it so low and added a spoiler alert.

Waste of Time
29 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Sort of interesting at the beginning but it's more like a collection of different scenes cobbled together. The spanish guy (brother-in-law?) was a kook that no one in their right mind would want to hang around with that comes out with some pretty crass comments. There's no chemistry between the husband and wife, but he seems to go out of his way to cater to her. He doesn't want to move but she wants a new house so she sees one she likes so he surprises her with the new house and that's it. Something is wrong with the eyedrops she's taking but that's as far as it goes. People here say the husband was messing with them but there is never any confirmation of that as far as I could see or confrontation. Their apartment gets broken into so you think the story is finally going somewhere and there is going to be some kind of twist but that's all that happened. She gets pregnant probably by the guy she cheated on her husband with but that's just another scene thrown in. Then the movie just ends and you say that's it and then kick yourself from having sat through it for so long.

Tedious
12 November 2022
I wonder how many people walked out of the theater when this was first shown. I swear that for the first ten minutes we are subjected to watching the main character do the exact same things every single day when he wakes up, with some slight variations. We even get to watch him standing in front of the microwave while we wait with him for his food to heat up. He puts a thermometer under his arm and checks it, works out and admires his physique in the mirror, and sits in front of the computer naked while masturbating to pornography. He meets a woman who lives in the same building, but we don't really get to know her well enough to care about what happens to her. If you have time to waste check it out..

Boring
23 July 2022
It starts out interesting enough, but eventually it becomes tedious. You expect the story to develop more but it just drags on and on. I didn't bother watching the last fifteen minutes.

What Were The Secrets?
26 March 2022
I was 21 minutes into the movie and was wondering when something was going to happen. We have a depressed person and her sister trying to reach out to her. I feel bad knocking this woman's first effort, the acting and the filming were okay, but there really isn't much of a story. It was kind of hard to follow. There are supposed to be some kind of secrets revealed according to the synopsis, but I didn't see any.

I Agree With Most Here

What a terrible film. I made it halfway through, until I couldn't take any more. Who wants to see a woman being brutalized for an hour? If there is any redeeming value or she found some kind of meaning.to life, as the description says, it's not worth waiting to find out.

I've seen a lot worse
16 March 2022
I don't see why people are giving it a 1. One is the absolute worse, and I've seen films 100 times worse than this one. This had an interesting story line and it wasn't slow paced.

Really?
2 January 2022
When I want to take my girl away from it all, I take her out to a quarry where everyone dumps their trash and me and the other guy I'm with throw stones in it.

When she gets kidnapped, you think things might get a little more interesting. But she doesn't scream, or even try to talk to her abductor. He doesn't say anything, either.

Let's Get Real
29 December 2021
Not really a spoiler because they tell you at the very beginning: If you can't drink the water or eat the food because they have both been madedeadly, what's the sense of going anywhere?

You can live without food for a while, but you can only go without water for maybe three days. And you're going to push it by riding bicycles?

Holds Your Interest

I thought it was interesting all the way through. I can see how people wouldn't like the dialogue, the pronunciation was horrific, but with Tubi I had the captions on so I sort of didn't mind it. This is at the very beginning so I wouldn't call it a spoiler: It didn't really make sense for the main character to come across all that money in such a questionable manner, and then to start flashing it around and calling attention to himself. He should have known better than that.

Long and boring
9 August 2021
The main character is not a likeable person and it takes too long for the story to unfold. People are being killed left and right and no one bothers to ask him why his hand is bandaged. The ending is lousy, too.

Entertaining
20 July 2021
The photography and scenery were good. The special effects were decent.

If you don't try to make any sense out of it and just go along for the ride it's not bad. It's not a drag, something is always happening. I can see why some didn't like it; who knows, maybe the writer did have some symbolic meanings in there that only he knew about.

Waste Of Time
18 April 2021
A couple running from something break into a cabin in the mountains. The movie never tells us what. They find directions on how to get electricity by putting rocks in a stream and get that running. There is also running water. Somehow there is an endless supply of cigarettes and alcohol, which they help themselves to. They help themselves to the guns and ammunition there, also. They encounter a stranger who doesn't speak their language and let him stay there. There isn't much of a story or ending. I gave it a five because of the scenery.

Dull, endless.
3 February 2021
Like others have said, I watched it until the end, to see if it made any kind of point. The movie raises questions that it never really answers but you don't care. It has some flashbacks to before the main character is imprisoned but it doesn't add much depth to the characters. I was lucky I had captions so I could understand what the voice was saying. Don't waste your time.

I Thought It Was Pretty Good
22 January 2021
I'm not a fan of vampire flicks. But the story was fairly interesting and got better as it went along. There was even a little humor in some parts, and the actors played it fairly straight. The ending was totally unexpected. I don't know why people gave it such dismal reviews, because there are movies out there that are a thousand times worse.

Fairly Interesting
22 December 2020
Isn't as bad as some make it out to be, but as one reviewer put it, you probably won't watch it again. The guy's accent was terrible, and, like the rest of the movie, not all that believable.

not much of a story
5 December 2020
A girl loses her job as a telemarketer. Then there are two girls drinking in a bar. Then there is a different girl, I think, who is traveling with her boyfriend, when the car breaks down. He leaves her there and then she finally starts walking. There is a shot of a black guy who wakes up and he's tied up. Except for his hands.

Pretty Bad
23 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It drags on and on. An enterprising young woman is trying to dig deep into a string of murders in a small town. But it's very slow paced. Supposedly a virus went a round the world after 9/11 making young people nuts, and this one guy keeps them in his barn and they just stand there all the time. Another guy related to him or something and doesn't talk throws rocks at the barn. At one point he finds a body in his shed so he calls the local cop. The cop is like, another one? And the guy who found the body tells the cop to clean up. No questions, no searching the area for clues?

I got tired and went to bed before the end.

7 or 8
21 October 2020
Not sure what to give it. Because of it's genre, I'd give it a 7, but, taking into consideration of it's genre, or within that particular genre, more like an 8. There is never a dull moment. That's what I liked about it. It didn't drag at all. And Juliana Harkavy is one attractive looking woman, and a good actress.

To Be Honest
15 October 2020
To be honest, I couldn't watch too much of it. That kind of shaky "shot as if someone was filming it as it happens" is not for for me.

Not too bad.
15 October 2020
It wasn't poorly made. The scenery was nice, and the film didn't have that tacky quality that the real bad flicks have. The acting was decent, also. There could have been more to the story, but it isn't the kind of movie you would turn off to find something else.

Drags and Drags
29 April 2020
This okay but nothing to write home about. It just drags on and on, it doesn't really hook you so that you want to see what happens next. Talk about Debbie Downers, the depressed wife is enough to bring anybody down, even the viewers. It's so slow and there is so little character development that you don't care that much what happens. Pass this by unless you want to nod out.
