A Family Man (2016)
9/10
An important movie
14 August 2017
People are not entirely good or entirely bad, this is a model movie that portrays a man doing the right thing in the wrong way. On one hand he is trying to provide for his family and climb up the ranks but on the other hand he does morally wrong things and neglects his family in the process. He is a man we can relate to and in this movie we become invested in him neither hating him nor loving him but sympathizing with him.

Something unexpected happens and our investment becomes even heightened, we cry, laugh and cry all over again. You see happiness, sadness and pure life in this movie - well acted. It is also nice to see marriage portrayed in all it's ups and downs without adding too much drama other than that of unexpected life.

I loved this movie and would recommend it!

The Box (I) (2009)
5/10
The acting was bad
4 July 2011
Honestly, considering that both actors are box office hits, I never thought it would be this bad. The movies' concept and story line is great. But Cameron Diaz was awful, her accent was so phony and she had no real chemistry with James Rebhorn. Also Cameron also seemed like she was trying to copy Angelina with the lips and accent (just my opinion). The movie was forced and their expressions seemed too acted. James Rebhorn played too many roles in the movie, first he was a pompous guy and jealous, the he was a concerned and kind husband and lastly the bad guy. At the beginning of the movie he had a southern accent and by the end it was gone. what the hell! I think the best actor was the kid. He had a small role but at least he didn't over dramatize it or go crazy with accents. Overall I would advise you not to waste your money on it. But it left me with new morals. :)
