iCarly (2007)
Great except....
Very good show. Very well written and acted with talented and funny people. Miranda Cosgrove is very funny and sweet, completely different than the evil little sister character she played on Drake and Josh. Supporting cast was mostly great including her big brother played by another Drake and Josh alum, Jerry Trainor. Freddie and his mom were Hilarious and probably should have had a spinoff show of their own. The part time supporting cast was also very talented. Gibby, lubert, Neville, etc. All very funny actors. Writing was very funny and creative. Only downside was the always disgusting, offensive, and crudely Unattractive sidekick character Sam. That was a very bad casting decision that should have been corrected early on. She added Nothing to the show except too many Cringe moments that make people change the channel. Other than Her the show was a Must watch.
It Happened on Fifth Avenue (1947)
Great Holiday Movie
This is a Great holiday movie that, for some reason has been overlooked by critics and movie fans. It's every bit as entertaining as the classics like Miracle on 42nd street, It's a wonderful life, White Christmas, etc. It's hard to understand why it's been hidden for so many years and overshadowed by other more well known classics. This move is well written, with a great storyline. Roy del Ruth, who had a great resume by this time, did an excellent job of direction. But the film's appeal is mainly due to the performance of the great and talented cast of actors. Great veteran actors like Charlie Ruggles, Ann Harding, young soon to be stars like Don Defore, Alan Hale Jr. The beautiful Gale Storm, but the Real Star is the great Victor Moore as the homeless vagabond,Aloysius T. McKeever. Victor Moore NOT being nominated for an academy award is nothing short of a crime. He was a Great actor and he proved it in this movie. I highly recommend adding this to your List of Christmas movies not to miss.
Reacher (2022)
Better than expected
Cudos to whoever cast Alan Ritchson as Reacher. He IS Jack Reacher. I am a huge Tom Cruise fan but as a reader of 15 Reacher novels so far, I along with other Reacher fans had trouble accepting Cruise as the 6'5" Jack Reacher who beats groups of thugs to a pulp single handedly. It's not as hard to imagine Ritchson doing it. The supporting cast ( Finley, Roscoe, etc) is also excellent and true to the characters in the books. We've been waiting for the REAL Reacher to come along and it was worth the wait. I sincerely hope there are more episodes in the works.
Charlie's Angels (1976)
Fluff but fun
One of the more lightweight pieces of fluff in 70s tv but the stars were undoubtedly some of the most beautiful women in TV history. As a teenage boy in the 70s I always considered Cheryl Ladd in a bikini to be the most
Georgeous sight ever.
The Best Years of Our Lives (1946)
A Timeless Classic
A Brilliant combination of great casting, great acting, a great story and great direction . Simply put, this is one of the greatest movies ever made !
Chad (2021)
Disgusting !!!
Another example of Radical Hollywood garbage pushing their Alternative agenda which society does NOT agree with. Why cast a female to play the part of an awkward boy. Why not just cast an awkward Boy. Note to all Hollywood producers: we are not buying into your Transgender narrative. I doubt that your 12 viewers a
week are enough to keep this show afloat.
Monk: Mr. Monk and the Actor (2006)
Outstanding
This is a great episode for 1 reason. Stanley Tucci.
Shall We Dance? (2004)
Don't Bother
I came across this movie recently and realized it was a Richard Gere movie I've never heard of.. ...and i quickly realized why.. because it is honestly, one of the worst movies ever made.
Big Sky (2020)
Entertaining
Well written, well acted show. Probably the best new show to come around in a couple of years.. John Carrol Lynch is a very talented, veteran actor. Should receive emmy consideration.
The Stepfather (1987)
First rate thriller.
One of the best psychological thrillers of the 80s. Well acted and directed. Terry O' Quinn gives a legendary performance as the psychotic killer stepfather with an ironic yearning for wholesome family values. I highly recommend checking it out.
Perry Mason (2020)
Garbage
Nothing more than Slander and Defamation of one of the legendary characters in television history. Raymond Burr would be offended.
Fathom (1967)
Enjoyable Action, Adventure film.
I've always enjoyed this film. It's fun and interesting, and comical at times. It was obviously influenced by early James Bond films, as evidenced by the scenic location, the beautiful women, and the strange, eccentric villian. The performances are light-hearted yet very well acted by Ms Welch, Mr. Franciosa and the rest of the capable cast. But the most enjoyable thing about this movie is watching one of the most perfect women ever created. ,( Raquel Welch obviously).
Urge (2016)
Embarrassing
Quite possibly the WORST movie ever made ! Terrible acting from a minimally talented cast. Writing and direction is even worse than the acting. When Danny Masterson is the most Notable actor in your movie, you know your in trouble.
