The Waltons' Homecoming (2021)
Tried and failed
At this time, we need the Waltons more than ever. I saw the ads and was so excited. I was more than disappointed. They omitted one of the children (Ben), the kids were rude, made comments about how MaryEllen is wanting breasts for Christmas and that is why she is so grumpy, the kids hit each other, Olivia was too tolerant of the "Recipe" and Olivia was loud! If you are going to remake a beloved movie, please keep it as close to the original screenplay as possible. I get things can be different, but this was so far off the mark, I was saddened by it. I understand this was a CW movie, but that doesn't mean they had to pander to that audience.
The Waltons: The Festival (1978)
Not the best episode but worthwhile
Spring 1940 on Walton's Mountain. While it's not the best episode, it touches on points relevant to today. Race relations, young crushes and a mom worrying about her son as he leaves to join the Navy (with war looming). Yes they changed out the actor who plays Josh, but the storyline is what mattered. Todd Bridges originally played Josh, but he landed "Different Strokes" by this time. If you can accept that change, then you should watch it. I enjoy most of the episodes of The Walton's. This one is uncomfortable, but you should watch it.
NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: The North Pole (2019)
Love Ziva
I've been watching this since the beginning. I was so upset when they "killed" her off. I thought it would kill the show. They need to show the reunion of Tony, Ziva, Tally and Sr.
It would bring it full circle.
The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (1966)
Atta Boy Luther!
This movie stands the test of time! I think I have seen this movie 100 times. I showed it to my kids and they love it too.
