This film was a real let down for me. First of all I liked the first Death Factory. It was fun, exciting and cheesy in a good way. I like cheese, not just in my food :) First of all there was NO Tiffany Shepis! How can you have her play the main villainess (Alexa) in part 1 but have her M.I.A. in part 2? This seemed like a "let's make a quick buck" flick. The first film had heart and you could tell. This one just seemed like a bunch of people getting together to capitalize on the originality, flavor and courageousness of the first flick. I'm sure some people will like it, especially if they have never seen the first, but if you go in thinking this is an actual sequel you will be greatly disappointed. No Tiffany Shepis? At least Terror Toons 1 & 2 was made by the same people and was somewhat linear. Brain Damage Films put this out so if you're familiar with them you definitely know what your going to get when you hear that gravelly: "Welcome Gorehounds." At least the Terror Toons series was entertaining.

Laughed my butt off. this effort by director Richard Griffin has an excellent sense of irony and irreverent humor combined with excellent comic pacing. I recommend seeing it more than once since you will very likely be laughing thru half the jokes the first time around. It's the story of an order of vigilante nuns (The Black Habit) with a special penchant for dealing justice out to evil mobsters. There's some soft-core nudity (always nice) and every conceivable variation of nun jokes and religious humor in general.

The violence is over the top bloody without being a gorefest.

Normally I'm not one for musical numbers, but this has some real rib ticklers. Where else are you going to laugh when Jesus does a song and dance with a bevy of leather-clad nuns providing backup?

What's really tasty is the cast. Sarah Nicklin simmers with sexual attitude, Brand Aponte is perfect as the angry mob avenger and the rest of the cast CAN ACTUALLY ACT! Incredible in a low budget film, I know, but it's true. This is one of the big redeeming factors here where most low budget efforts fall flat.

Don't get my wrong, I'm a big fan of badly acted low budget features. But in those instances the bad acting is the reason I laugh. I have a very MST3000 sense of humor. But not so here. Mr. Griffin has managed to corral some real talent and it makes all the difference. One laughs at the jokes, not at the acting. With him, not at him.

So do yourself a favor and pick this one up. Unless you're devoutly religious, you'll have a great time. And even if you are and have a sense of humor, you could still find yourself in stitches.

I loved this movie. It takes the killer escapes mental hospital plot and runs with it. It really captures the look and feel of the classic slash-em-up horror films of the 80s. The plot is thin and the acting bad but it doesn't make any apologies for it. The film manages to pull off some intense scenes regardless of it's limitations. Although it uses almost every cliché of slasher films for some reason the director is able to present it n a whole new way. They even throw in a second killer for good measure. Both killers are an homage to the great slasher killers of the 80s. This is a great film to pop in when your with a group of friends. It'll make you jump and laugh at the same time. Go into it looking for a good time and you won't be disappointed. I see this becoming a cult classic.
