the best part of this movie was when Radiohead kicked in

Don't let the ratings fool you, the reviews are on point. The movie looks great, but part from that, the plot is Swiss cheese. Also, cheesy, yes.

What I found interesting is that they portray the Americans as they really are: emotionally stunned a**es that blame others for their mistakes and kill countless innocents in the process as "collateral".

Of course, they tried to give them some blah blah sob story to motivate their hate, but failed miserably.

The best acting was the girl's.

Visuals were amazingly good, so was the soundtrack, but, unfortunately, this is not enough to save a bad movie.

I gave it 5 stars only for these two.

the most fun marvel I've seen lately

Excellent, good fun movie, with the Cumberbatch cherry on top. The Evil Dead horror touches were absolutely deeeeelish!

The acting was superb from all characters.

The plot was nothing new, but oh boy it was fun to watch! It kept my attention from start to finish, and from someone with ADHD that says a lot :))

Totally recommending it, but not necessarily for children under 12, I guess.

I think I like this one the most.
1 December 2018
I have seen both Vampire Diaries and The Originals, honestly I find this series a breath of fresh air. I really like how everyone doesn't have a hidden agenda, how everyone is not secretly evil and I think I like the most that they are just normal kids living a supernatural life. I find the story arc quite intriguing and interesting. Overall, I think I like this one best.

Love it!
21 November 2016
Loved it from the first minute. It has a Misfits feeling, with dirty humor, idiotic situations and attitudes, a few clichés, yet the two main characters are lovable and sweet while being total bad-asses.I know, we all miss a good Nathan or Woody in our lives, but the delicious, quick-witted Raquel is the right kind of awkward to root for, awesomely completing the sensitive and sweet Amy in all things new and dangerous.

The bad guy is a walking cliché, all-drama-evil-laughter-devious-plans-dude, but seeing how well the other characters are built, I can't help but think this is what was intended for him.

The special FX are not spectacular, but they don't feel forced and still manage to get you in the right mood.

Do try it for at least two episodes before you make up your mind about it, you'll probably have a charming, fresh, pleasant surprise!

Depends on your standards

Warning: Spoilers
So I'am used to bad shows that I watch because there's „something" I like about them, like „The Strain" (that eventually got a bit better). Same weird thing: world is going to s*** but everybody is acting like „mkay, that was kinda weird, but let's ignore it or mildly unrest and then ignore it."

Anyway, if I got past the „let's not panic about our daughter being taken by A FLYING ZOMBIE and just get in the trailer to go to a place we heard of somewhere", I got past the laughs and „let's be cool while a meteor wipes a town our daughter is in instead of searching for her while we are literally less than a mile away from her and just hope she'll meet us at grandpa's, 40 miles away", but for the love of god, a rabies shot plunged 5 cm by a doctor into your intestines while 4 people hold you down with you kicking and screaming?! Srsly, I can take bad sci-fi, but the over-dramatization of a lousy rabies shot just for added...what?

Non-Stop (2014)

so not worth wasting your time.
2 March 2014
so it's a rainy, lazy Sunday and you say „let's go to a movie." Non-Stop is not an option. Not even when you have nothing else to do with your time. Though the acting is fine, the script is a lame, lame soup made of clichés, stereotypes, overly politically-correctness-Islam-appeasement and a few liters of syrup for the oh SO predictable ending. My boyfriend guessed about 95% of the script in the first 7 minutes of the movie.

Oh and the Action | Mystery | Thriller tags should be corrected to „drama", because the action was 2 minutes of fight/murder/plane-flying scenes, the mystery was not such mystery and there was boredom sobbing instead of thrills.
