Grey's Anatomy: Song Beneath the Song (2011)
OMG are you serious?!
man, was i not prepared for this one. this episode was suppose to be a HEARTBREAKING and tension high climax of the season, but then it started... my favorite characters starting making fools out of themselves, and it just didn't stop! another song and another song, i literally wanted to die.
this one was even worse than the episode with the TV reporters that was suppose to be "creative-tv" or something....PLZ GREY'S WRITERS STOP THIS TORTURE! YOU ARE JUST NOT GOOD AT THIS!
buffy the vampire slayer once did a musical episode, and to my surprise it was actually pretty good, and entertaining. but i guess grey's anatomy should just stick to its originals.
are the writers of the show THAT bored?....
True Blood (2008)
cant stop watching...
i am a big fan of Alan Ball and i think six feet under is the best show there ever was in television - in terms of quality and originality, photographic and complex of the characters. also American beauty is one of the best films i've seen. so you can understand why i decided to watch this show even though its a vampire series , which we're all fed up with. i mean don't get me wrong - i love vampires and I'm a huge Buffy fan, but since Buffy and interview with the vampire, no one could make a vampire show or film without making it completely ridiculous. but TRUE BLOOD brings respect to vampire television. its deep but yet hilarious, its actors are brilliant, and the script is written by a master hand, completely addressed for the adults rather than children. like Alan ball previous work - the show isn't afraid of taboo subjects, and can easily get away with everything (gay relationships, masturbation etc). the only thing that might bother me is the overtime sex scenes, which is too pornographic at times, but is typical for TV this days, and also are used well to increase the intensity of the show.
in a nutshell - this one definitely deserves a poster over your bed.
Dollhouse (2009)
i understand why this show was canceled
being a huge fan of Buffy, i wanted to check this one out, especially with Eliza dushku being the lead role. the first season was actually decent, and i enjoyed most of it, but still something was missing. at the final episode of the 1st season, i understood why was it canceled.
at the beginning of the 2nd season i already lost interest and stopped watching. it seems joss whedon was trying to do something deep here, but missed it with all that "not so clear" relationship between the FBI agent (which i had no sympathy for) and echo, and at some point it just got a little bit too far off with the storyline and completely lost me. whedon should have kept it personal and have the idea flowing without revealing the ending to us in the first season.
and with that said, i miss faith!
Je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas (2006)
a masterpiece
this film is basically one of the best movies i've ever seen (and i've seen a lot).
it is very rare for me to get so exited about a film. it means a lot that i had thought about it all week and couldn't get it out of my mind...
the story is hard to tell without revealing anything, but it all begins with Lili coming back home from vacation, and her parents telling her that her twin brother has run away... thats when it all begins. the main theme song is amazing, and the actress which later appeared on INGLORIOUS BASTARDS is rare... a must see movie.
