Birds of Prey (2002)
Wasn't that good
After watching Birds of Prey, I take back everything bad I ever said about Smallville. Birds of Prey isn't completely crap, just sub-standard. In it's defence, it's probably the best super-hero show besides Smallville. "The Flash" was really bad. Besides animated series, it seems super-hero series just don't work. Suddenly Clark Kent getting all mushy with Lana in Smallville doesn't seem so annoying. Don't get me wrong, Birds of Prey wasn't terrible. It was just very ordinary and is probably not gonna blow you away. The show tries too hard to be cool, the stories are kinda lame, there're lots of really cheesy one-liners and the characters (maybe except Helena) were not very believable especially Black Canary, Lady Shiva and Dinah. Maybe the show would have been better if Huntress was a more popular hero. I doubt I would have watched this show at all if She wasn't Batman's lil girl.
Lost (2004)
Writers LOST the plot
I could go on and on about why LOST was bad. I thought the writers of PRISON BREAK ran out of ideas but compared to LOST, PRISON BREAK is a masterpiece. The writers of LOST hardly give any explanation at the end because they just didn't have any. The best example is the episode about Jacob and his brother. It was a really bad episode and proved the writers had asked so many questions they didn't have the answers to.
It started out as a bunch of people crashing and how they adapt and get along with each other then turns to time-travelling and supernatural beings. In season 6, they take out a piece of rock, turn the island's mysterious powers off, kill Locke then put the rock back and turn the Island back on. Come-on, give me a break.
For those people who feel LOST is the best show ever, I'm very happy for you. You've got many much better shows to look forward to.
24: Day 8: 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. (2010)
Perfect ending for Jack
First of all, I heard that Jack may be killed off at the end of 24. Thank God they weren't dumb enough to do that.
I believe this was the perfect end for Jack. Obviously he wasn't going to live happily ever after and after everything he's been through, being killed by just some guy with a gun would have been unfitting. The end of season 7 would have been the fairly acceptable time to kill Jack off. If you look closely at every show, you'll find flaws, not all seasons of 24 are as good but come-on, it's the best show out there. Anyone who doesn't agree is welcome to mention a better show.
Simply put, "24" is the best thing that ever happened to television (unless you're a "sex and the city" fan and 24 just isn't your kinda show).
I look forward to the 24 movie.

Blade Runner (1982)
Seriously overrated
The most exciting thing about this movie is the title. Besides it looking quite good for a 1982 movie, it is nothing special. I actually fell asleep during the movie. Deckard is meant to be one of the best Bladerunners but how does he kill the "dangerous" replicants? He shoots one is the back was she runs away and another while she's doing back flips. And the other two? One is shot from behind while he's choking Deckard and the other sits down and dies after saving Deckard's life. I would like someone to please tell me why people still use this movie as a benchmark in 2009. It was boring then and still is now. I give it a 5 for the special effects
24 (2001)
Simply the best
I'm going to make this short and simple. Jack Bauer is the best thing that's ever happen to television. If you don't like 24 then you don't like action thrillers. It's that simple. Stick to shows like sex and the city, and One Tree Hill. I tried other shows like Alias and La Femme Nikita after 24-season 7 ended but neither comes close to the standard of 24. I don't want to go into details of what makes this such a great show but believe me, if you're looking for a thrill, you've just hit the JACKpot. If you're just about to start watching 24, you're so lucky you have a lot to look forward to. I have to wait till January 2010 for season 8 and then go through the torture of watching one episode per week. Till then The Mentalist, Lie to Me, Flashforward and Dollhouse will have to do. They're all good shows but are just substitutes till Jack Bauer comes back. Can't wait for the torture to resume. 10/10
