I will say that i didn't think this was the best movie in the world, because there are better ones, but REALLY!!

I read other peoples reviews on this movie and everyone is nit picking on what these three people should have done and what wasn't realistic.

I found this movie quite harrowing and it stuck with me until much later after watching it. The idea of losing the person i loved, the feeling of being so alone and stranded, not knowing if i would live. I even thought about the frost bite, and i imagined being rescued and worrying if i was going to lose any limbs.

I thought the director was clever with this movie. I don't care whether the cable would really be sharp or if the whole thing was against wolves nature. I would have used my hands and feet to traverse the cable, but the fact that Joe didn't, didn't make this movie stupid, in fact i would have used the cable before even thinking about jumping from that height, but who really knows what you would do in that situation.

Movie is well made, worth watching, better than open water as i found that extremely boring.

I did actually like this film because I hadn't seen anything like it before. I've said this may contain a spoiler because I'm unsure whether people know if it's one of those films that have a save the world ending, so if you don't know read no more.

What I liked about this film was that nobody prevented the catastrophe from happening, it sounds awful but I've always wanted to see a film that actually showed the end of the world, I have seen another one since KNOWING which was 2012. So for this reason I enjoyed it, but there were a lot of really slow parts in the film, which didn't particularly bother me, but I believed were unnecessary, such as the classroom scene, but it wasn't a big deal.

I did think the ending was rather cheesy with the kids running in the meadow, I would have been happy with just seeing them leave in the ships but overall a good film, especially the special effects.

I am a huge fan of horror films and films that involve ferocious animals, I've seen jaws, lake placid, deep blue sea and many more, this film will be added amongst my favourites, I would have given it ten out of ten if it weren't for one detail, I am about to write a spoiler about one of the characters. I have no problem with these monsters killing people, the body count can be as high as you like, it bothers me not, but in this film they killed off the adorable dog and showed the crocodile eating it in detail, I would have preferred it if another tourist was killed, my message to film makers, is leave the innocent animals alone, they should be the heroes in movies like this. Otherwise it was a great film.
