Ahsoka (2023– )
5/10
In the same universe but not on the same floor.
28 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The writing is weak, the plot is not all that predictable but kind of boring.

Rosario does her job and acts as they want her to act, the other female does her job too, but her character is kinda pathetic and weak.

Thrawn is a good character on paper and what he plans to do and everything, he brings a needed amount of dark in this show.

There are two mercenaries that side with the empire in this show, one is being played by the legendary Ray Stevenson, they have powers and lightsabers but are not Sith, just former Jedi. They are kinda confused about what to do and what their goals are.

The scenes are not that impressive neither is the scenery.

If you watched Andor or Mando and loved it this will be a miss.

Andor was spectacular from the writing to the acting , vfx , etc.

I think this is more centered around the younger viewers.

Too much light not enough dark, which will make it perish in the long term.

Uncharted (2022)
3/10
Nothing like the game.
29 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Played uncharted since i was a little kid, this is nothing like it, it is very low level compared to the games.

The main actor is nothing like Nathan and the other dude is not Sully.

I cant believe they didnt cast Nathan Fillion as Nathan Drake.

As for Sully , they should have cast Brian Cranston , but maybe an even better choice for that role would be Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), i think Brian is a little old for that, but Bob is deff up for that one. The scenes are kinda washed up and fast forwarded. Would have been a spectacular show if they wanted to be original, imagine showing libertalia or the scenes from the catacombs.

Superb cinematography

Warning: Spoilers
The journey only deepens once the knight starts the quest with a lot of mistery to it, great shots along the way, fantastic scenery, it is a bit dark in some shots but it adds to the mix , i like the pacing of it plus the weird interactions with the creatures and other characters, got a bit of Life of pi vibes from it with all the visuals and colours, it really is a different movie from what i have seen in a while, love the approach wish i could see more like it, it is not an action movie so if you want those type of movies you may not like this.

AAA show
8 May 2021
Never read the comics didnt know anything about this.

Watched all episodes in one sitting and oh boy ... this show hits like a truck, the gore the violence is something else. It has a more mature aproach to it , very well written, a lot of side stories that are gonna develop into the seacond season i think. Voice acting is on point , it has everything to succed. 10/10.

Raised by Wolves (2020–2022)

Cinematography as it should be.

Hbo delivers great cinematography, unique and very special ,the dystopian feeling of it the scenery the characters, they are all very very well done. The story so far is good and the pacing of it is superb. The scenery really depicts perfect for what they want it to be, you can see influences from prometheus regarding the terrain, scenery and other small thing. The androids are very good written as other characters, a unique show that stands out, haven't seen something this good in a while.

The Mandalorian (2019– )

Really good pacing to it, exceptional at character development.
16 November 2019
The visuals are on point , the director understands the old movies with character development, a really good star wars vibe like the old ones when you really want and need to see more, i watched the first episode last night thinking i would fall asleep in 10 minutes, half an hour later i was so excited to see the next one i instantly played the next episode. 9/10 just because the episodes are 30 minutes , please make them longer lasting , i think i speak for everyone when i say this. 10/10 with a longer 45:00 - 55:00 would absolutely blow my mind and be a more immersive cinematic experience. Congratulations Jon Favreau, you really delivered and made probably tens of milions watch star wars again with the same passion.
