Wish I'd have read the reviews before renting this :( Redbox I want my 1.80$ back lol. Seriously disappointed in Guy Pearce for this d movie ugh. I couldn't even handle 30 minutes before I decided to skip to the end to see the end scenes and then it got worse...horses and bikers is all I'll say!

Vox Lux (2018)

Well that was tragically interesting...

Warning: Spoilers
SPOILERS...First five minutes were a sobfest especially as I was the same age as the main character when Columbine occurred. I can still remember how much that tragedy effected my generation. And still today so much gun violence, so sad and tragic. I now know why I had never heard of this movie before. Despite the movie being about music and fame the beginning of it probably struck a chord in 2018. However despite the not so great pop songs I liked the movie. Was definitely an emotional rollercoaster. Also it was very emo artzy for being so representative of pop culture. I pretty much will watch anything with Jude Law in it and found his and Portman's roles pretty good in the movie. The young actresses were decent as well. If you're into pop music, emo life, and celebrity you'll at least like the movie.

One of My Favorites

This is by far one of my favorite movies for Brad Pitt. Plus I love historical dramas! It might seem weird to some but I adore this movie. Marion's acting is excellent as well.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I'm a huge sci-fi and dystopic future nerd so I love this show! And Karl Urban is fantastic in it! I wish it would have been continued but alas it was a Fox network show. I can't recommend this show enough!

Two Separate Stories, One Connecting Character
9 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
It wasn't bad and it wasn't fantastic, it fell somewhere in the middle. I'll watch Karl Urban in pretty much anything so I went in with the mindset of a fan. I didn't like how they had two separate stories going on it kinda made the film have a disconnecting feel. However I did like both storylines. I would have liked them as two separate movies...that actually would have been a great idea. I liked Urban's acting hence the 6/10 stars. But for the movie itself I'd say 5.5 or at most a 6 would be acceptable too. I liked Urban's grit. I didn't guess the ending so that was something else that made the movie decent. I'd recommend it if you're a Karl Urban or Andy Garcolia fan otherwise it's just another B rated cop movie with some plot disconnect.

I Liked It... Spoilers.
12 April 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Ok first off I'm a major Karl Urban fan. I thought he did the best acting out of the whole cast in the movie. The movie had me guessing on who the bad guy was. I did wish we'd have seen more about his wife etc. And of course the actual ending threw me for a loop. I still want to know the answer. Yes it was rather typical and not well plotted but if you're a fan of Karl Urban or Pacino it's worth watching. I liked seeing Urban in a major role again.

Out of this world amazing!
9 February 2018
From the first intro to the last scene I was in love with the show. I thought the cinematography was stunning. I thought all the actors did a great job. The nudity and violence didn't bother me, it added an artistic necessity to the show. I thought it was some of the best sci fi futuristic dystopic story filmed in forever. Definitely 10 stars and an A+.

A worthwhile miniseries looking at the history of the #LGBTQ equality movements in the USA
3 March 2017
At such a time in the USA and the world where the LGBTQ community still faces discrimination and violence against us this miniseries came along at a perfect time. I cried a lot of sad and happy tears. W/ such a bigot as potus right now WE all need to come together/continue to fight for our rights. The mini series and Cleve Jones is right,One struggle. One fight. I recommend this miniseries become a staple in helping educate the people and older people just what the LGBTQ life is and how much we've had to fight for equality along the way.
