Una pelicula de Almodovar sin Almodovar, me he divertido mucho con esta pelicula, toma muchas cosas de diferentes peliculas de almodovar,, assumpta serna fue chica almodovar,,maria conchita esta muy simpatica y como siempre espectacular como actriz en el papel de la mujer rica o no tan rica , un papel a su medida ,me recordo a carmen maura en mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios.. assumpta serna se roba la pelicula esta fabulosa, eduardo yanez hacienda una parodia de cantinflas y Alicia machado hacienda una parodia de Entre tinieblas otra pelicula de almodovar

Carlos Enrique almirante is a very sexy actor, I love this movie , the movie is about the reality of the cuba of today, like one of the character said En este pais si sube te aplastan,in this country if you up the push ypu down,,Almirante is very good as the young guy I really fall in love with him ,don't miss this movie, e suna pelicula que trata la cuba de hoy sin suenos pero con muchas cosas diferentes

I went to see this movie today in NEW YORK is going to be show for one week only and for the first time is show in USA, the movie is very good with a great end but what make this movie good is ROMY SCHNEIDER 1938-1982 when she came out in the screen ,she play a prostitute named lily, the question i ask myself was how come somebody can be so beautiful so perfect i have not word to described this woman and beside her talent she was so good in her part i love this movie, ROMY IN REAL LIFE WAS NEVER HAPPY SHE HAVE A5 YEARS LOVE AFFAIR WITH ALAIN DELON AND AFTER THAT SHE MARRIED THE FATHER OF HER LATE SON David EVENTUALLY SHE DIVORCED HIM AND MARRIED DANIEL BIASINI THE FATHER OF HER DAUGHTER SARAH

I saw this movie long time ago in Nyc back in 1981 in those days in Nyc was many Spanish language movie house and in one of then they show La Querida the original title of this movie at the same time ROCIO JURADO was at the top of her fame even this movie was done in 1976 it was release in USA in 1981, at this time La Jurado was the most famous singer in Spanish language her record sold by millions all over Latin America and USA , i have to said the movie was not good. they just want to show her singing they want to catch in her fame . she was a good actress but in this movie she is not good but her voice was fantastic, this movie today maybe dated since La jurado die in 2006 and she is not very popular anymore but for her fans is a gem

I saw this movie very long time ago in my little town of Banes in the east coast of Cuba, it was the first time i have see liz Taylor in a movie I was very young at the time in those days of the early seventies in Cuba all American movies were prohibited this one was the beginning of a new era for us at the time the review of the movie was very bad but i think it was because it was the first time since the 50s an American movie was show in Cuba the reason why the begin with a movie with liz taylor i don't know is well know that fidel castro was crazy for Brigitte Bardot, anyway i love this movie it was great i saw about 8 times and Elizabeth Taylor beauty was amazing now with her death which for me is very sad and surrealistic i was sure she will never die i want to remember this great movie

I love this movie is very funny and witty, the director of the movie Mr Enrique Oliver is a very talented guy and he has a very cuban sense of humor and since I was born in Cuba i do understand it perfect I love the movie and the performances are great i highly recommended this movie ask you video store to get new copieS and get it you will have a great time by the way his mother Zoyla is in the movie she is fantastic, the very well know former Spanish child star Ana Torrent she is very well know for the movie Cria by Carlos Saura and her co star was Geraldine Chaplin play the virgen to perfection, THIS MOVIE IS A FEEL GOOD MOVIE BUT HAVE A VERY DEEP INSIDE TO IT

I saw this movie few days ago in a DVD the movie is long and not the best of Bardot movies but she is charming and beautiful as always, Brigitte look really good and at this time she was not pay much attention to the role she play or the movies she did she don't care anymore and she just was becoming a fashion icon and a singer , but i will recommended the movie for Bardot she look so beautiful and chic , Maurice Ronet another super star of the 60s play the lead he was by this time a real a star in Europe he was the leading lady of the time he has play opposite Sara Montiel ,Jeanne Moreau ,Catherine Denueuve , and Romy Schneider among s others

I saw this movie not long ago after many years of looking for it , this is the last time ever Brigitte Bardot and Roger Vadim will work together and this is the last time Bardot will be the star of a major movie her last movie was a small part in Colinot the following year meaning 1974 ,any movie with Bardot is worth watching she is always charming and perfect and so beautiful in this movie she is Don Juan or some type of Don Juan she is great I love the movie from beginning to end not long ago Jane Birkin she is in the movie too, she said to vanity fair the American version that the day she meet Bardot she was breathless as how beautiful she was she said Brigitte was flawless, BARDOT IS UNIQUE HER BEAUTY IS ALWAYS THE MAIN ATRACTION IN A MOVIE but she can be good too and very charming, she have the it, sadly she retired after 1974 and never comeback, today she is 78 years old and doing good for animals, she is the last super star alive

This movie is a very good one here is the story of three different woman in three different time but all have a connection to each others the better segment is the one with Raquel Revuelta a great actress with a powerful performance by this time she was still very beautiful even she was in her 40s her real life mother the legendary actress Silvia Planas play her mother in the movie too, her segment is at the end of the colonial time in Cuba back in 1898 in this segment miss Revuelta all dress in white look impeccable she is perfect for the part i don't think she was ever better well maybe as Dona Barbara back in the mid seventies, the others segments are good but not as perfect as this one Eslinda Nunez play the lead in the second part no a great actress but was beautiful the last part was weak and very political

I saw this movie long time ago in new york city i am a big fan of Isabelle Adjani, i love the movie very much at the time I know Rodin but little about Camille Claudel, she was a very talented woman over shadow by her husband fame and abuse and more . over shadow by the time she live in, Isabelle Adjani was amazing i think this is one of her best performance ever, Adjani maybe the best actress of the cinema of today she has done great work before and after this movie but this is my favorite , she was nominate for an Oscar as best actress and won a Cesar she won more Cesar as best actress than any other actress in France history, i have to said she is Brigitte Bardot favorite actress and she played Bardot in the movie Monsier Abrahim, Gerard Depardieu is Rodin in this great movie . Isabelle is always a pleasure to watch sadly she is not making many movies lately, i wish she does she is very gifted as an actress and we the fans all over the world deserve more movies from her, please isabelle never retire we need you .you are the best of all

I saw this movie last night in T.C.M i am a big fan of Anouk Aimee i have see more than few of her movies and always love the way she look even today as an older lady, the movie is slow but very romantic and very sixties , Aimee play this type of prostitute living in USA and she meet this guy younger than her and he fall in love with her i think she play the same part as her other Demy movie Lola, Anouk all the time is wearing white and she was in her late 30s i have to said very few actress are as beautiful and perfect as Aimee, i like the movie very much the first time i saw a movie with Aimee was called A second change she play the friend of Catherine Deneuve by this time she was older but beautiful, the actor Jean luis trintignat said aimeee and bardot were not good actresses but good to look at

This is a great movie Maria at the top of her beauty and power i don't think Romulo Gallego the author of the novel never image a more perfect Dona Barbara than Maria Felix she has everything the part required , this was her third movie , the one that will immortalized her for eternity , maria based in this part created her own legend , i saw the movie long ago and i love it , have to said back in my country Cuba they did the television version of dona barbara with a very great actress and beautiful Raquel Revuelta i will said even maria was more beautiful and more charismatic Raquel was a better actress but maria was incomparable,maria is the divina garza

this is a wonderful movie some people said it was based on the life of another Argentinian star TITA MERELLO at the time the biggest box office star in Argentina movies and a LEGEND on her own , Fanny the star of this movie was a Peronista and a friend of Evita and the lover of Evita brother Juan Duerte and a friend of Tita Merello sadly the movie was not a hit since it was done in 1955 few month before the fall of Peron by the time it was ready a new dictator was in power and the movie open in 1958 and nobody saw it, Fanny Navarro after the fall of Peron WAS PERSECUTED AND DIE OR KILLED HERSELF IN 1971,Tita Merello always was a friend of Fanny and never said anything about this movie and her lonely life

I love this movie i had see few times in television is about the Mexican revolution but honestly the reason i like the movie is because Maria Felix and Dolores del Rio are together for the first and only time in their life , Maria more beautiful and younger than del Rio but both were huge movie stars Dolores very well know in united states and Maria very well know in the rest of the planet but not in USA, la Felix was beautiful , elegant and unique a real legend she never let herself go down not even in the last years of her life when she was almost 90 years old she still WAS Maria Felix , i love this woman she was maybe the most fantastic movie star of the 20 century, Dolores was a beautiful and a nice well educated lady she came from a very rich background but was not as fascinate as MARIA FELIX

Idont like this movie , i saw this movie only because sarita montiel was in it , she play an Indian and some of the review said the pretty Mexican actress please She was born in Campo de Criptana in the region of Castile-La Mancha in 1928 as María Antonia Abad (complete name María Antonia Alejandra Vicenta Elpidia Isidora Abad Fernández). She was the first woman to distill sex openly in Spanish cinema at a time when even a low cut dress was not acceptable.sarita was not Mexican and she became the biggest European star of the cinema after Brigitte Bardot and today she make fun of American she said back in the 50s the American were so ignorant they don't know the different between Spain and Mexico they don't even know where Spain was located,Sarita thank god went back to Europe and the rest is history, BY THE WAY BACK THEN SHE WAS MARRIED TO ANTHONY MANN

This is Sara Montiel best movie and maybe the best version of Carmen , this movie is much better than the one Rita Hayworth did in the late 1940s .La Montiel here look so beautiful and she prove she can act, this is the story of Carmen the gypsy woman whose beauty was legendary and her love for don Jose , Sarita Montiel never was better , she did many major hits movies later in her life until 1975 when she did a very bad movie named Cinco Almohadas para una noche and she retired for good since then she became a television star even today in her 80s she still La Montiel, in this movie her favorite co star Maurice Ronet I think they did 3 movies together He was a the famous french star the leading man of Brigitte Bardot , Romy Schneider , Jeanne Moreau , Catherine Deneuve and many more he was here at the peak of his fame and the other part is played by the sexy Spanish actor Jorge Mistral at the top of his fame too this movie was a huge hit all over the world, SARA MONTIEL DIE april 8 2013 at age 85 a verysad day in my life Adios Saritisma montiel

I saw this movie many years ago and i love it , any movie with Anna Magnani is A most for everybody she was an special actress is not other actress in the cinema like her maybe Jenane Moreau.in this movie she played Rosa Palmolive i remember very well watching the movie and saying how wonderful this woman is, Anthony Quinn is great in the movie they worked together in the past in wild is the wind, Virna Lisi is great here she show how good as actress she can be and how beautiful she was but the movie is LA MAGNANI is a tour de force her performance and plus is her the most amazing actress of the world cinema, the first time i saw Anna Magnani was in the movie Roma open city and i was mesmerized by her performance i feel sorry for Ingrid Bergman when she married Rosellini and he try to make her in another Anna Magnani they flopped nobody can be ANNA MAGNANI

This is a soap opera made in Mexico in the very early 70s at the time Nati Mistral was a huge star as a singer and stage actress this is the only time she was in a soap opera , the telenovela is very simple and is not Mistral best work but she is very good in it as always , Nati is a great actress and a very good singer a woman with a great technical skills as a singer she can do anything she want AS WELL AS AN ACTRESS SHE IS A LORQUIANA ACTRESS MEANS SHE IS BEST WHEN DOING FEDERICO GARCIA LORCA PLAYS , La Mistral today is retired she said goodbye last year in a tour all over South America and Miami Florida where she is very popular among Cuban American, due to her right wing political ideas and her very Christian believe her image has been damage due to her very controversial remarked against gay marriage and others socialist cause she was and still is a francisco franco admired a very sad situation because she is one of the most talented women of the 20 century , but she will survive and her music will go on forever

I saw this movie when premiere in television long ago , i been a fan of Rita Hayworht and when they said they will make a movie about her life i was very happy, Rita at the time of the movie was alive but very sick, the selection of Linda Carter was a big mistake she was of iris and Mexican decent La Hayworth was of iris and Spanish decent and both look very different Rita was sublime the most beautful women of her time.the movie was very bad. Carter has nothing to do with Hayworth she was well know as wonder woman but she don't have sex appel or look as beautiful as Rita.i will not recommend this movie is a waste of time and energy

I saw this movie many years ago i remember when it was been filming it got a lot publicity do to the fact that Silvia Montanari an Argentina super star was in the movie she was hot from few telenovelas or soap opera , she was very elegant and beautiful and she went to Puerto Rico to do this movie with Jacobo Morales the most famous film maker of the island even if he is very leftist for my taste, La Montanari was at the peak of her fame when the movie open to mixed review she went back to argentina and i have NEVER see her work again even i know she still active in stage and television but her work is not show to this part of the world anymore i don't know why

This movies i mean the three Fantômas were an important part of my childhood back in the late 60s or early 70s, i remember how much fun was to go the movies back then in my little coastal town of Banes in the east part of Cuba with my cousin Manny, and the Fantômas movies were the biggest hit of all, any Cuban over 40 years old will tell you how much they love this movie and because this movies Mylene Demongeot the very beautiful french actress became very popular in the beginning she was another copy of Brigitte Bardot as michele Mercier or Marina Vlady and many others were but as Vlady she became star in her own right, Louis de Funes the most popular of all french actors or comedian in Cuba became an idol back then he was really funny later in my life i discovered he was of Spanish decent and Jean Marais by the time of the Fantômas movies he was at the end of his stardom and i was very surprise when i discover later in my life he was gay and at one point he was the lover of Jean Cocteau, anyway i love the Fantômas movies and forever they will remain part of my life

I saw this movie long time ago I was in my country Cuba and I was very young in my early teens I went to the movie with my cousin Manny in my small town of the east part of Cuba named Banes, this movie is wonderful is a tragedy and a musical La Polaca the star of the movie never was more beautiful this is a very well done Spanish movie from the early 70s and La Polaca a flamenco singer and a dancer was at the PEAK of her career she became star early on in her life she was part of the flamenco dance company in nyc of Jose Greco she even danced and sing at the Ed Sullivan show , she went back to Spain in the mid 60s and became a major star she even has a part in a Brigitte Bardot movie , i love the end of this movie is sad but so tragic and romantic you will love it La polaca has die in june 2 of lung cancer she was 65 years old

This is one of my favorite movie is very long about 6 hours but its so good that you don't care i saw this movie the first time in in a revival movie house in New York City i love the movie from beginning to end is a masterpiece ,plus is the wonderful Dominique Sanda one of the most beautiful and talented actress in the world , plus Laura Betti a great actress she play the fascist wife of Donald Sutherland both are evil and perfect in their part plus Burt Lancaster never been better than here evil rich old man , Robert de Niro and Gerad Depardieu i am not a fan of either one are good here, Stephanie Sandrelli a great Italian movie star is good too , don't miss the movie i know is very long but you will not mine just go with the emotion and the time in history plus remember is Dominique Sanda in this movie

Silvana Mangano is one of the best and most beautiful actress of the cinema, i love her very much and ilove every movie she did even when they were not great, to look at her its always a pleasure, i saw this movie when i was in my early teens in my country Cuba she was very popular back then and people love this movie i went to see this movie with my mother i love the way she look here she is almost perfect i always wonder why she never became as famous as the u.f.o of sophia loren or the antique doll gina lollobrigida but now i know she want to be a mother and in her prime she retired to be the wife and the mother of the Dino di Laurenti children, i went to see her burial place in the town of Pawling -New York in USA is a very simple stone saying Silvana Mangano di Laurenti 1929 -1989 she is buried next to her son he die in a plane crash in 1981 since he die her life was almost over she did two more movies one very good Dark Eyes with Marcello Mastroannie, i never miss a movie with Silvana Mangano last winter in New York city they did a revival of some of the best neorealist movie among then were Bitter rice and Anna

I just saw this great documentary few days ago is about the life of the best Cuban actress from a bygone era the 50s , in this wonderful film Adolfo Llaurado filmed each of this cuban legend in their own private life he ask all type of question about their life , in this film is nice to see Gina Cabrera a good actress and a very beautiful woman in here she show signs of what will happened later in her life she lost her mine and became insane, Raquel Revuelta 1926-2004 the best cuban actress of all time talk about her life in the stage , Rosita Fornes beautiful and fantastic as always , Consuelito Vidal and Margarita Balboa together they were best friend in real life both of then gone now , Aurora Pita beautiful and funny so many others as well as Odalys Fuentes ,Maria de los Angeles Santana etc i will said this movie is very special but is for cuban people only or for those type of people with curiosity about others country
