Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre (2023)
#LFC97
'Trent' 'Alexander ' 'Arnold' , is Guy Ritchie a hidden Liverpool Football Club Fan, or just a very random coincidental character names in this movie, whatever the case, all three were just as poor defending their character's appeal to the storyline.
As for the movie itself, plenty constantly going on with believability to the moment, however there were ridiculously stupid parts which made absolutely no common sense in that particular moment.
Though a great number of well known actors, some are just not convinceable for these types of roles in these movies.
Yet again Jason Statham carries out coolness impeccably.
Blue Lights (2023)
Ridiculous
Utter, utter unnecessary violence. Who would want to be a probationary police officer in Northern Ireland when this is the attitude to training. When are television producers going to realise that you do not need to overdramatise something to get viewers.
Common sense and proper reality and showing situations dealt with in a proper manner is more entertaining. There is certainly nothing amusing in portraying scenarios like this.
Lacking actors and actresses again are the BBC, utter utter garbage, massive mockery to a service that should be utterly utterly respected, get a grip and start showing drama in a decent light.
Witness Number 3 (2022)
Sickening
It's a drama, like many other's, my other half likes to point this out to me, because as other reviewers have stated, there is so much unrealism to real life.
However what I can't ignore is the question , where does the idea come from.
With this one it's hard to think that this story writer is not re-encounting his life, this gut wrenching, sickening storyline, more from a perpetrators point of view rather than a victim.
There is absolutely no empathy in this drama hence my latter point of view, it's about time that there is a proper looking into on these sick, sadistic storytellers along with the producers of these so called dramas.
If not be factually better with what you show, the security doings in the flat were absurd and this I have experienced personally.
The Noel Diary (2022)
Dull
Over exaggerated theatrical movie, exit right, enter left , he would never sell a book if written like this dialogue, yes it's just a film but there was nothing natural in how the choreography was done, nothing real about feeling how the weather and environment is. This ridiculous occasional slow motion sequence was supposed to mean what? Too much spent on props, mostly unnecessary rather than actually pay for a decent crew and actors to actually carry off the story a lot better. Don't bother, definitely nothing festive or romantic, very cliche and desperate to put something out. Yawnnnnnnnnnnn.
Crossfire (2022)
Stolen
A story born out of a horrendous real life incident.
Hard not to state the continuous obvious with British broadcasting company and programmes but this fulfills it with box ticking yet again.
Over timed series, quite easily could have been put into half the time, obvious foreseeable incidences and so easy predictable.
Why the need to put in stupidity and naivety to make things seem dramatic rather then show a drama with characters reacting naturally to the situation, so much more believable and enjoyable if normality was seen.
Are we getting to a stage when writers have come to an end, time to wake up and put something on worth watching.
The Control Room (2022)
Waste of time
What could've been a decent story, needed much better actors to emphasise and for the story to go deeper, a desperate series to fill a spot.
Some actors who should never be given serious roles.
Sherwood (2022)
Should've been better.
Good storyline, let down by poor common sense directing, overused actors who have gone way beyond their time onscreen, others who for generations are not onscreen enough, stereotyped roles for many of these, way too many actors and extras used, BBC have overdone the budget for this drama obviously, no wonder other dramas have had to be produced and aired on streaming services.
Respect (2021)
Two and a half hours wasted
Extremely disappointed that such a long film hardly touched on the majority of her life, music was fine, story of her full life was extremely limited, barely touched milestones and many important events in her life.
Our House (2022)
Zero
Come on, change the Drama record, bad husband/man cliche, mirrored my life, with my ex taking the kids out of school and leaving my house empty, very spooky, was dull and lacked dialogue.
Don't bother, utter waste of viewing time.
The Misfits (2021)
Ocean's
Unjustified reviews about this film, it is an enjoyable film , if you like the Ocean's set of films then there is no reason for you not to see similarities and like this.
It even adds in the rarity of Pro Father in a film, breathe in the novelty of that and watch.
Stay Close (2021)
Could've been better.
So much was good but another drama let down by illogical thinking given to characters and confusion with the continuity with the episodes.
Unnecessary over the top violence with irrelevancey to the storyline.
Tedious repeated lines.
The Tourist (2022)
Don't be fooled.
First 2 episodes weren't too bad and thought maybe a decent worth watching story.
But episode 3 onwards it turned in too utter garbage, a professional killer turned extremely amateur then survives a stabbing and a fall down a well, ridiculous violence along with pathetic policing and love interest , with general stupidity and unnatural reactions, sums up a complete DON'T BOTHER.
Don't Look Up (2021)
Don't Bother
This film sums up today's general life, ruled by stupidity in various media's, what a waste of money in employing an abundance of so called A Listers.
Scarey thing is that there is a lot of truth and that the important things in life are never heard and dealt with efficiently, if this is real life then the disaster awaiting would be a blessing.
Hawkeye (2021)
Disappointing
Worse if the Marvel series and I was expecting so much more from this one, should've done a lot better.
Unrealistic and cheap looking event sequences .
Jungle Cruise (2021)
Disappointing
After about 10 minutes it became too Indiana Jones then touches of many other adventure movies, which turned me off from enjoying a good cast of actors performing.
Out of Death (2021)
Don't bother
Seen better school productions, the crime here is that someone thought this person could write a good story, Bruce Willis must've done this film for nothing because no-one else was worth paying, the cast apart from Bruce were appalling and shouldn't be cast ever again, Netflix were extremely desperate to put this into their listing.
Parked (2010)
Tragic
So many lives end up this way because those in the know still don't listen and admit to the signs.
Been given the right help is a lottery, too much talk and not enough action and certainly funds are not given enough here rather than to health factors who can help themselves a lot more.
Wake up world.
Silent Witness: Brother's Keeper: Part 1 (2021)
Shameful
A decent drama that is now disgracefully downturning to unnecessary soap like under stories with talentless poor actors that bbc are introducing to tick equality boxes, for heaven's sake stick to the realisation on how thing's could play out rather than being over ambiguous and concentrate on the main story and ongoing of the long term characters, don't bring in new characters to be the centre of attention, that is ridiculously dire.
Before We Die (2021)
Disappointing
A potentially good story ruined by unrealistic and stupid situations. Some good actors with some extremely poor ones, probably why it was relegated to Channel 4 for viewing.
Kate & Koji (2020)
Ok
A ' Count Arthur Strong' setting redone with some underused Actors/Actresses that deserve to be on TV more often then the terrible ones we constantly see, a good first episode with my fingers crossed it continues to get better.
Penance (2020)
Don't bother
1 was too much, predictable, cliche, utter tripe and every episode overtimed with endless flashbacks .
Christmas Break-In (2018)
Don't bother
Too many home alone ideas and storyline disappoints me that Danny Glover needed to do this film, surely there are better parts out there for him.
