The Muppets (2011)
9/10
Great comeback for one of the best children shows ever made!
7 January 2012
The Muppets have been and always will be amazing. Take this film as a prime example.

The movie opens to the life of Walter (Linz), a Muppet, and Gary (Segel), his human brother. As they grow up, they develop a love for The Muppet Show. Eventually they end up going to LA with Mary (Adams), Gary's girlfriend and taking a tour at the Muppets studio, where Walter discovers an oil tycoon's (Cooper) plan to destroy the theatre and drill it. He, Gary, and Mary, decide to visit Kermit and convince the Muppets to get back together for one last show to save the theatre.

This film also has short appearances with Jack Black (The School of Rock) and Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory).

This movie has many of the elements that just scream, "Oh my gosh! It's The Muppets!". Which include covers of popular songs, and explosions. Even the original characters still have the same physical and personality traits, as they did from the start of the very first episode of this show, to the end of the film. They also were able to incorporate every character from the show into this film.

The acting is very interesting, as the characters in the movie pretend that The Muppets are no longer popular, when the franchise is still a huge part of pop-culture. They even act as though Kermit never existed, when everyone in reality knows who he is. This could probably happen two hundred years later in the future, but not now.

The actors make you think that they believe the Muppets are actual real-life beings that can communicate, and think the way they always have.

This flick will be thoroughly enjoyed by many kinds of people including, hardcore fans and young children who endlessly beg their parents to see this movie at their local theatre. Seeing as it has a mixture of comedy, drama, and catchy music scores.

It is one of those movies where you go into the theatre thinking, "Alright, there is probably nothing special about this film," and come out singing one of their songs as they leave after the credits appear.

I give this movie a 9/10.

Jersey Shore (2009–2012)
1/10
I actually thought Television couldn't get anymore idiotic.. I was wrong!
17 July 2010
Jersey Shore is probably the worst programme on Television I have ever laid my eyes on. It's not only stupid but it discriminates against Italians. On the show they are being depicted as people who always go tanning, partying, always acting like idiots(also known as "Guidos/Guidettes"). In reality a lot of them are very smart and hard-working people. I know at least one person who looks like a Guido and every time I see them, I always make faces like I was disgusted at them. It's because I really hate this show.

Of course, it's MTV and there is not much to be surprised about when watching that channel. I could let it go if they weren't depicting another culture so negatively.

A sad, yet touching story.
12 May 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Let me start talking about how Holocaust movies can really make me feel uncomfortable. Even though I fully enjoy them, I do not agree with how the Jews were treated during that time. Although, this does not mean we should not learn about it.

What I mostly found wrong about the movie was the actors. I may not be an expert on accents, I believe they sounded more British then German. Also the plot does not seem right, I do not think that they would allow families to move near the Concentration Camps. Also, there would have been guards around where they met. The guards would have told Bruno to leave the camp and not come back. Near the end of the film when Bruno got under the fence, it would have not been so easy. I believe that before he got there the solider would have stopped them from doing anything else. I'm pretty sure they worked really hard to make sure that only the Jews would get killed in the gas chambers. However, I can go easy on the movie because this is not based on a true story.

What I liked about the movie was how it made you think about the treatment of the Jews during WWII. I also liked how Bruno was different from the rest of the Germans during that time. He was one of the very few back then to realize that not all the Jews were terrible people. After all, if they were bad people then Bruno and Schmuel wouldn't have been friends. I felt pretty sensitive at some scenes, like with the end and when Schmuel was caught eating a cake while he was a slave in the house. I was also uncomfortable when I saw the scene when he was in the camp. I guess it's because I was sensing that Bruno was uncomfortable.

I'll recommend this film to anyone who just wants to know the basics about the Holocaust. I don't think his film is historically accurate enough for school.

Alice in Wonderland (I) (2010)
Decent enough.
22 March 2010
I figured that this movie was, pretty good from the high praise it had when it first came out. So I was like "Oh, what the hay?! Let's see it!" I'll admit, it was pretty decent, but that was with the 3D, and special effects. I'm pretty sure it's one of those films that might drag on if I saw it with out them. Well of course what I like about this film was the special effects, the costumes, and the story wasn't too bad either. I think it will be good enough to see in the theatres just once, or rent it for when it comes out on Blu-ray and DVD. Another thing I liked was the morale of the story. It's pretty much true, in general of life.

I'm not giving this a rating because I am not sure what to rate it.

Simply fantastic!
18 March 2010
Warning: Spoilers
When a lot of people hear the title of the movie. They just assume "Oh, the movie with the gay cowboys who just make out?" Although, I think it's way more then that.

I've enjoyed many things about this movie. Like for instance, the acting, and the intense love scenes between Jack and Ennis. This movie also sends out a clear message about repressed homosexuality, about how hard it is on yourself to just hide it, and pretend your not. It's also very accurate about how people felt about, these kinds of subjects at the time (even though I didn't like it one bit, it happened).

What I didn't like about this movie was the ending, I'm not too big on sad endings. I did not agree with having Jack Twist dying at the end. Although, I guess it was another way of showing what would happen if people knew you were gay during the time of the setting. It was a bit of a tear-jerker for me.

Overall, I'm giving this an 8 out of ten.

Jackass (2000–2007)
7/10
A Classic...
9 February 2010
Jackass is basically just 30 minutes of a group of guys doing crazy, funny, and wild stunts. Every now and then I just want to relax, and enjoy something stupid to watch on Television because I am too tired to think about what I am watching. I shake my head of fans of the newer MTV shows like, Parental Control, and Date my Mom. Sure, I admit those are crazy, and stupid too. However, with those programs I felt my brain actually draining from the stupidity. With Jackass however, I just felt as intelligent as always. Maybe because I become more educated, and aware of the consequences of doing the stunts. Which are shown in, the Television program. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy this program if the following applies to you: You enjoy stupid humour/Television, are more open minded about Television in the decade, and you happen to be very bored for a majority of the time.

About time this series reached IMDb!!!!!!!!!
14 January 2010
Let me start off by saying, that the Yu-Gi-Oh series has been a big part of my childhood that I still hold dearly to me. As of now I still enjoy reading the manga and watching the anime as often as I can. Words from a wise woman: When I say something is good, it's good okay? That includes YGOTAS, and the original YGO as well as Season zero.

When I was in eight grade I saw a comment special that he made, which featured the characters Joey and Kaiba. Curious of what it was I watched it. I found it simply hilarious, and I checked out more of his videos on LK's original channel. I was hooked on the abridged series! I even told my friends about it (too bad they didn't know what I was talking about, since every one of them was a bunch of Narutards)!

Honestly, I don't think I would consider you a fan of YGO if you haven't at least seen one episode of The Abridged series. So, go.. Check it out now if you haven't! Well, you better get there before Youtube starts acting like Llyod, and Harry from Dumb and Dumber!

I'm not sure what all the hype was about...
28 November 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I heard so many people say that this movie was "Frigging scary!" Or "Oh, you're going to pee in your pants!". When I saw it, I was like "Oh, is this it?" Is this that movie that everyone was terrified of? Oh please! Throughout seventy percent of the movie, nothing at happened. When something that was supposed to be scary happened, I just laughed my butt off. Yes, I know that they mentioned that, all the events actually happened. No, I don't even care about it. My advice to anyone that wants to see this is: Don't let anyone fool you! This movie is probably the weakest movie ever put in theatres! I normally don't put any spoilers in my reviews but seeing as it would be too short if I didn't I'll post the two scenes that were probably the scariest compared to most of the film (Which I was also found myself laughing):

1. The girl lies in bed and appears to have fallen down the bed. The girl realizes that she is being dragged by the ghost haunting her, as she slides across the bedroom floor to the hall.

2. That same girl leaves the bedroom, screams, her boyfriend runs after her. The girl returns to the room with a bloody knife. She appears to be possessed, as she sides beside the bed. Rocking back and forth.

Star Trek (2009)
10/10
The best movie I have ever seen! EVER!!! *Revised*
20 November 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Alright, I think I would like to rewrite my review of this movie. While, I still think this is the greatest movie I have ever seen. I should be a little more thorough of this review.

This movie is great for the people who are new to the franchise, Star Trek The Original Series, and certain types of fans of that series as well. However, lots of hardcore fans were not satisfied with this movie at all, and I can see why.

The storyline has lots of continuity problems, but I guess they can get away with it since it is an "Alternate Universe". There were also some references to other series that, was also unforgivable towards them (you'd know what I'm talking about if you saw it). There was also one scene that aggravated them the most (I personally found it weird a little, but overall I didn't mind it). I'm talking about a little Spock/Uhura scene (Since I've mentioned it I'm putting a spoiler warning just in case). I'm not going to say what happened, I'll just say that it was pretty much the oddest scene in the whole movie. There just wasn't enough chemistry going on between them for it to happen. Plus, there wasn't any world issues being addressed at all. There was also a lot of lens flares, but I didn't let that bother me.

I guess since I got all the negative things out of the way, I'll start with the positive things. What I really admired most about this movie was, how well the cast of characters was (On a personal note, I find some of them really handsome). All of the cast pretty much look like, younger actors of The Original Series. They also portrayed their characters really well (Captain Kirk talked in full sentences this time). On the other hand, I've also really enjoyed the special effects, and can see why they won "Best Make-up" at the Oscars. The thing I've enjoyed the most about this movie was the experience of seeing it with my Best Friend, and all those mixed emotions while we saw it together. I experienced feelings of joy, excitement, happiness, and arousal.

I'm giving this movie a perfect 10 because, I personally had no problems with it. Yes, I've stated problems above but, those are only problems that a hardcore fan might find. Not a devoted "Trekkie" like myself, or a person new to the series.

Pretty good, but I was expecting it to be much better.
28 August 2009
When I saw the preview for it on space a few days ago I figured since two of the most popular Horror movie characters are in it, that it would be just as good as The Exorcist (which I saw just a while ago). Well I'll admit it was good, but it was nothing like I hoped.

Most horror movies during this decade are pretty awful and not worth watching but this movie but this is actually a little bit better. I recommend this film for anyone who wants to kill a couple of hours. I don't think it's worth an Oscar or anything but it's good enough to buy or rent at a video store.

So overall, I liked the plot, the script, and the idea of Freddy and Jason being the two characters fighting each other. I'll admit it was pretty stupid but according to the average rating it was good compared to the garbage we have now.

Now all we need is Fred from Youtube vs. Jason Voorhees... Haha! I'd consider that a treat for his haters on Youtube.

The Exorcist (1973)
10/10
Wow! A scary movie that's actually scary!
21 August 2009
I was watching this with my friend while we were having a sleep over. My friend always selects really great movies to watch when we have our little sleep overs. So when I popped in The Exorcist in my VCR I was expecting it would be good, but it's better then that. It's probably one of the best horror movies I ever watched! The story was very good, the script was well written, I was actually a little scared by this and usually Horror movies don't scare me. I wouldn't mind watching this again for 4 or 5 times. I recommend it to anyone who truly loves the Horror/Thriller genre. Today's Horror movies aren't that good actually, and if I were to have one wish it were to be that all horror movies of this generation would be as good as the ones my parents grew up watching.

Fred (2008–2014)

Fred was funny for a while..But then I just got annoyed by him..
20 August 2009
I admit when I first saw some of Fred's video I was laughing my butt off, but I think maybe after he guest-starred in iCarly he stopped being funny.

You guys already know this by now but Fred is just saying random things that aren't even really funny and speeding up his voice to make it sound like it is. There are so many better people on youtube out there, I can list three off the top of my head 1.Smosh 2.CommuinityChannel 3.ShaneDawsonTV

Go check out those guys and I think you'll agree with me. At least those guys don't have people pulling pranks on them like the Fred prank where everyone subscribes to him and then unsubscribes him. If you've paid a visit to his channel on June 1st only 5000 people unsubbed him. I thought since so many people disliked fred I thought he would at least loose his million. Darn hypocrites!

B.T.K. Killer (2005 Video)

Probably one of the worst movies I have ever seen
20 August 2009
I was lying on my bed, with a really bad cold or flu or whatever. I figure maybe I'd kill some time watching some horror movies my mom bought for me a little while ago. I wish I never picked this movie! After I watched it I felt even more sick and I wanted to throw up. Afterwords(when I got better of course) I did some research on Dennis L.Rader and I noticed that the Dennis in the movie was nothing like the real one. I hope that no one ever watches this movie but if they ever do don't eat or you'll feel the way I felt after I first watched it. I think you would have a better time watching The Santa Claus 3. At least that movie had better reviews on this site.

TMNT (2007)
6/10
When I first saw it at the theatres I thought it was awesome, now that I saw it again I became slightly disappointed with it...
20 August 2009
I have been a fan of the turtles ever since I was in seventh grade. When I heard they were making a new TMNT movie a year after that I was thrilled to hear the news! My Father loved the movies when he was young and he agreed with me to go see it. When I saw it I was pretty amazed by the CG and new voices in the movie. I wasn't very critical when it came to watching movies. Later on I watched it again, I liked the idea of a cartoon movie, I still liked the voices and the CG but I think the script needs work. I thought the story was OK. I was happy they didn't put Shredder back in the movie(I don't think a great villain like him should be overused like that). Overall I give it at least a 6 or 7 out of ten. I'm still not sure what I should rate this.
