Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave (2005)
REALLY can't believe they make these kind of sequels
such a TERRIBLY BAD movie shouldn't have been/be made...SERIOUSLY.SUCH A WASTE OF PRECIOUS MONEY,TIME etc...can't BELIEVE THIS!!!1...CAN'T BELIEVE I watched PT.4 and 5 from START TO FINISH as a result from the 2nd half of this movie,i started to think, when will this movie(READ TORMENT)ever end?!!!.the only worth watching factor were the main protagonists, but sadly, even they didn't really take away the Disappointment/BOREDOM FACTOR.and those 2 terribly cheesy FBI wannabes?!!!...i don't even want to mention them.and tar man?!!!...can't the makers just let him ROT IN PEACE?.even after 20 yrs At least still A 'REALLY SHORT LIVED'CAMEO?!!!.oh well...At least he WON'T HAVE TO chase after victims WITH HIDEOUS 80'S FASHIONS ANY LONGER...HEEHEE....I'M SOOO BAD...such a TOTAL DISRESPECT to the 80's ones i feel...they were the best...the makers should have invested the precious money of these movies into something MUCH MORE SERIOUS...I SERIOUSLY weep for those who rent them, better yet, those who WATCH THEM IN THE THEATRES...SOB SOB!!!
Dance of the Dead (2008)
a cheesy, yet ONE OF A VERY FEW, very well-made teen horror flick
yes like i said above,it is a very well made teen horror flick as first and foremost though it has the usual blood, gore, cheesy acting and humour of a typical teen horror movie, but at the same time it's different dare' i say.istly,it doesn't have the usual rampant,'in your face' kind of nudity',(which can sooo destroy the 'entertainment meter' and also sooo unnecessary)and profanities of the words/speech which is also so rampant in teen horror movies(though it maybe there a teensy weensy little bit,but all in all not really that disturbing).besides the 'quick popping' out of the zombies from their graves in the beginning was a very cool and original concept along with the fact that they could run really fast,at times almost catching up/grabbing the protagonists.it really adds up to the scare factor.besides that, the unbelievably at times teenage cheesiness of their acting is sooo annoying and at the same time so entertaining,so well portrayed.guess teenagers will be teenagers no matter what kind of situations they are in.heehee.the director DOES A VERY GREAT JOB.the blood and gore is not too much which is v good, not to that point of making you feel like vomiting.from the v beginning the adventure begins and that's what will really go well with the viewers.i thoroughly enjoyed it and needless to say i was pleasantly surprised by the movie. thank you soo much for a great horror flick mr.director.two thumbs up to you and to the cast.
Splash (1983)
unusual and irresistible love story
an unusual, quirky, warm, believable, lovable and some what funny love story between a human man and a 'REALLY ATTRACTIVE,ENCHANTING mermaid....one fine summer day,an 8 yr old boy was rescued from drowing, off the coast of cape cod when he was vacationing with his family by a 'strange,fairy-like',girl of his own age,who seemed to appear mysteriously from nowhere.20 years later, as fate would have it,he again drowns in an ocean one day and the same girl,(now both grown up),comes to his rescue.later on,she eventually comes to search for him out of the water, finds him, then eventually comes to live with him and they fell madly in love with each other.but she has a terribly guarded secret.just what could it be that she's guarding so painstakingly??!!!.confusion and chaos happens when the man she loves and the world finds out about her 'odd secret'...a must watch especially for lovers of warm, soft and yet a different type of romantic movies!!!....definitely!!!.
