Lorrie was born in Holyoke, MA in 1974 and when she was 2 years old, her parents moved her to Santa Maria, CA. This is where she grew up always knowing she wanted to be an actress. At the age of 9 she auditioned for "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and was cast as a townsperson. Even though this was her first show and a small role, she loved every minute of it. This started her acting career she never turned back. When Lorrie turned 16, her parents made a move up to northern California (Eureka). She needed to find a place to fit in so the obvious choice was a theatre class and join to join the Drama Club. She began auditioning and getting cast in musicals, comedies and then her first serious drama, "The Grapes of Wrath" as Rose of Sharon. After she graduated Eureka High School in 1992 she began performing in area community theatres. She continued doing as much theatre as possible. And often, that's all she occupied her time doing. She ventured from musical theatre and began enjoying more comedies (her favorite genre) and straight plays. She joined an improv group called RATS (Redwood Area Theatre Sports) and worked in a theatre that solely performed new work plays, called World Premier Theatre/Plays in Progress. That's where Lorrie learned the most about her craft and herself. She became a dedicated, serious actress with even more passion for acting.
Lorrie now resides on the east coast in East Longmeadow, MA. She moved to Massachusetts after her grandfather convinced her that she'd love it there. That was in 1997 and back then she told him she did not want to leave California, she didn't want to move that far away from home. She did agree to come for a visit. She'd stay 2 weeks and then fly home. After a week of visiting she never went back. It's in Massachusetts where she discovered there was an outlet to do more than just theatre. Lorrie added her first feature film to her resume (Cathedral Pines, 2006). She's added short films to her resume such as "Crushing Pennies" and "The Women of Harry". The feature film, "Lucid" and 2 web series, "Worlds Worst Director" and Family Problems.

Being a guest on Topic Time was an awesome experience! Harrison is easy to talk to and brings out the best in all his guests! He makes you feel comfortable and right at home in the studio. Harrison is funny, intelligent and an interesting guy with a lot to say. He has met and interviewed people from all over New England and the US. He's got a good sense of who people are and can relate to many different subjects but especially subjects in the entertainment business. He asks all the right questions that viewers want to know. As a former guest, I would recommend any entertainment novice or professional to appear on Topic Time if given the opportunity. This is a show not to be missed!
