The Boogeyman (2023)
Oh God.
This film is nothing but a collection of cheap jump-scares stringed together by a subpar plot that would have been old if it were released 20 years ago.
I don't mind jump-scares, in fact I think they can be a great addition to a horror movie if used well, but making a loud noise or loudly slamming a door every 3 minutes is just lazy writing.
Not gonna go into detail (not that there are much details to go into) but the whole movie is riddled with every horror movie trope you can think of.
I found myself constantly rolling my eyes over how nonsensical and unrealistic the characters were being in behaving and reacting to the events of the film.
This film is regurgitated garbage that has been many times before and I promise you, if you've seen any monster-horror movie ever, you've seen this one.
Blindspotting (2018)
This is what passes for a 7.4 these days?
Unbelievably, mind numbingly boring and poorly written. The movie is 90 minutes long yet It somehow felt like the longest movie I've ever seen.
Rick and Morty: The Old Man and the Seat (2019)
Meh
Felt like it was trying too hard to be creative that it forgot to be entertaining.
The plot was forgettable, the dialogue bloated with unfunny "clever" jokes and it was all just very messy.
As a die-hard Rick and Morty fan I gotta say I'm not impressed so far with season 4.
Glass (2019)
Shyamalan does it again!
If I had a week to list all the reasons why this movie is terrible it still wouldn't be enough.
The dialogue seems like it was written by a 7-year-old, the characters are bland and severely lack complexity, the script is LAUGHABLE. The only thing that made sitting through this abomination barely possible was James McAvoy superb acting skills.
This movie isn't even worth pirating, let alone spending actual money to watch.
Needless to say I will never EVER even consider watching a Shyamalan movie again.
I'm so glad all the main characters die at the end, and hopefully the possibility of a sequel (or any more Shyamalan movies) with them.
What a piece of crap.
