Life Blood (2009)
WOW!!! What a surprise!
Yes it starts off a little slow and seemly nothing to do with Vamps...but wait...you will forgive that later.
One of the best vampires movies I have seen...starts a little slow but its worth the wait to see the blond react to her new way of being. Don't let the lesbian stuff at the beginning trick you...the writing is superb...
I really believe the blond loves what she has become. I can't recall at this time another vamp movie in which I have seen a predator play with its prey in such a realistic manner. That in itself is worth the time to give this flick a chance...this movie has so many other ways to go at the end...I believe this one will be a big deal when it hits the Horror fest in October...
I want to see another one like this!
Angel-A (2005)
Once again Luc Besson astounds me with his vision.
I can only give it a nine since I only caught the last 45 minutes but will watch again soon and buy the DVD. What a wonderful movie is all I can say. The love in this movie is like the love in The Fifth Element.. a movie which touched me deeply...the "sexy bitch" long legged Angel-A is like the "perfect" red headed Fifth Element.
Well i must write more, I'm not much of a critical writer, but I am big Luc Besson fan so let me attempt this because I did enjoy the 45 min. that i watched. I found the dialogue very interesting the movie was funny, it was sexy and for me personally, not so much spiritual but more like...magical..like what the 5th Element was...for me. I loved the ending.
Star Trek: 30 Years and Beyond (1996)
Kenny G
I was disappointed with the tribute spot to the special effects wizards of Star Trek. Kenny G was playing as it was shown and he got most of the camera time...as a special effects fan I was highly disappointed at the directors choice and felt compelled to say something even if it is 12 yrs later. But the rest of the show was really well done especially the Frasier gag they put on before the Kenny G thing. As I am watching this on the Bio channel there is a horrible take on John Lennon's "Imagine" song done in a opera style...it's horrible. Well that does it for me, I'm changing the channel after I write this but I just saw Buzz Aldrin is coming on next so maybe I'll give it another shot.
