Animal: Octopus (2021)
Fantastic!
Amazing footage. I've always loved bbc footage of the animal kingdom. But now there is an American version that's by Netflix?! Very intrigued! It was a beautiful episode and guide. They are truly the aliens of the sea. Amazing video of underwater activity!!!!!!!!!!
Such beautiful creatures. Seeing all the colors and the way they mate is insane too.
Now to fill some space with octopus facts.
About two-thirds of an octopus's neurons are actually located in its arms. This means the arms can taste, touch, and even act on their own accord, without input from the brain. Mating isn't all that much better for males. Once they've done their part in the reproductive process, their lives accelerate towards their end.
The Last of Us: Long, Long Time (2023)
Wow, AAA episode on an already near perfect show
I had heard there was an episode about a back story of Bill and Frank, I was originally afraid of it being a filler episode like most TV shows do, but I was proven so wrong. The show has had an amazing attention to detail, and might be the perfect blueprint on how to successfully turn a game into a television show.
It is the first episode to take a huge deviation from the game in a very good way. I was engaged the whole time. The pacing, tone, cinematography and music was truly moving.
Me and my girlfriend teared up once or twice, and even the director mentions afterwards that he cries every time he watches the episode and he's seen in 200 times.
I cannot wait till the next episode. Special thanks to everyone involved in this production for making such a moving, visually stunning program.
The Last of Us: When You're Lost in the Darkness (2023)
Amazing pilot
The performance of Bella and Pedro were fantastic! I felt like I was replaying the game for the first time with a new perspective. I loved the added scenes to get the audience who have never experienced the game to get the "feels". I had to pause multiple times, telling my girlfriend that this is exactly what they said in the game, or this is even bigger than what they did!
The delivery of Bella's Ellie was awesome, the movement, the tone, the attitude, I loved it. It really shows what a talented actor can do. The actor who played Joel's brother Tommy did a great job, from voice, tone and movement. Joel's Pedro was awesome and Sarah, Joel's daughter was amazing as well.
I don't want to give any spoilers or recap scenes. But once again, as a huge fan of the game, I had chills multiple times throughout the episode. Definitely the best video game adaption I've ever seen, cannot wait to see the full season!
The Last of Us (2023)
I love it!
I'm a huge fan boy of TLOU. Own it on ps3,ps4,ps5. ..(ha) I'll support the title forever. I play it once a year.
Did I mention I love it!!!???
When I heard the possibility of movies/shows and etc. I was worried and excited. I'm glad they took their time. At first I was not thrilled by the casting, but I've loved Pedro since Narcos, and he's done fantastic things since then as well. Bella is a smaller star but I still wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, they casted everyone for a reason.
I know all the gamer fans had different ideas of the image of the two main characters, but that being said, I was blown away by their performance and am glad they shut my wondering mind down.
People keep adding a summary of the episode...so I'm not going to do that. We don't need to hear it to fill up the minimum characters for a review!

The Last of Us: Infected (2023)
Awesome
Great second episode. I really enjoy the back story about the disease origins that they have added to the show and story.
Vary rarely do movies or shows capture the essence of the magic of video games. This is the first project I've seen that nailed all the details.
The episode follows closely to the game adding some new twists and magnified parts that were in the game to be bigger and better.
Ellie is annoying right now, but she is in the game too. So they got that right. She grows on you like a fungus, and eventually you grow to love her weird quirks.
I think they did a fantastic job creating TLOU universe and cannot wait to see more. Wooo!
Chad & JT Go Deep (2022)
What up council!
Boom. Clap. Stokers.
-JT
The words of a a legend.
If you've never heard about these fantastic humans than you are missing out. This show is totally aimed for their podcast listeners, so I understand some confusion of newcomers.
They are hilarious, just don't take it serious! It's a mockumentary !
I love listening to the Chad and JT podcast, with fellow guests, especially Strider! They always have positive attitudes and messages, never any anger or trying to put people down, this is hard to find nowadays, especially in comedy podcasts.
It tells a very good story to break down stereotypes and issues in the world we all live in. Keep it up my dudes!
Battlestar Galactica (2004)
So good!
I thankfully watched it back in 2010 when everything was said and done. Such an amazing experience and beautiful show and story. A great example of a solid cast, crew and script. Although not as big as Star Trek, I find it far more fascinating and unique. If you want breaking bad style sci fi, watch this!
Halo: Solace (2022)
Fun!
This is my favorite episode so far. Kwan is fine; but definitely should not be a main plot line, I do not hate her like many others, but she seems to be a filler. With a big budget and sooooo much lore, focus on the fandom for season 2 and finally make a show/movie to appease the fans and not just the random masses.
Halo: Inheritance (2022)
skip!
I heard that I should skip and I did! After ten minutes, the pacing of this show is bizarre!
Gonna be a naw from me dog. Hard pass.
Skip................
Naw.....................

Go-Big Show: We're Back, Bigger Than Ever! (2022)
I like it. It's dumb and fun. Love Bert!
Bert keiesiger, I mean Kersteiner, I mean kuuurstiener, and Tommy are my jeans. 😇
Fun show. They make some dumb picks during the competition but it's a fun show. Definitely worth a watch. Fun... fun.
Antlers (2021)
Nawwwww
I guessed wendigo, love the concept of anything wendigo! Movie had some kind of metaphors that don't equate to anything. Some visuals were creepy and fun but the movie was a snorefest. I love creepy crawly, and everything on the spectrum but this is not great. Worth watching? Sure. Good? No. Entertaining, I guess. Do what you will but I was bummed with the overall delivery.
Disaster Movie (2008)
I can be very relaxed with comedy, this movie made me want to rage.
Even after multiple beers I was beyond annoyed. Not one joke lands. I grew up and was a teen when this movie and all the movies they are mocking came out. It's not funny. I like bad movies some times. As a laugh or escape. I wish this move was like " the room", but it genuinely has nothing to quote or like or poke fun of. Seriously, it's like a 3rd grader wrote a summary of trailers of movies that he watched a week ago. Painful.
Ojing-eo geim: Kkanbu (2021)
Very disturbing
I've seen every kind of horror and gore and sadness. Something about this episode got me...and made me feel really uncomfortable and upset after. Similar to the first time I saw the Japanese movie Battle royale over 15 years ago. It's sad, and realistic and upsetting but brilliant.
Go-Big Show (2021)
Better than most American competition shows
I really don't get all the hate. I was annoyed by unfair match ups but it was entertaining and I liked the judges. There wasn't categories for voting just a 1-100 vote. I don't understand the people so upset about this, instead of ten minutes of bull of talking about an act they just vote. Some acts were much better than the others and some people slipped thru the cracks, but a 1/10 is ridiculous. Worth giving it a try to anyone reading this.
Too Old to Die Young (2019)
Wild ride
Amazing cinematography. Great gritty pacing. Should have listened to the friends telling me to ignore the last episode or two. But I did enjoy those still. I feel like the momentum went downhill at some point. But still very enjoyable overall. Very nitty gritty feel. Love the blade runner cinematography feel. Glorified the similar cinematography or Drive. Has some disturbing aspects so I would not recommend to the light hearted.
The Basement (2018)
Fun simple B movie low budget horror
Fun simple B movie low budget horror. The acting was pretty good and I liked all the characters, it was a fun version of a serial killer vs the generic typical kind. It was a simple script and few locations and I thought it was solid for what it was. Give it a chance. I don't think it deserves a 3
There's plenty of god awful b movie but this one was fun!
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
This episode should is what everything has been for!
There's a lot of episodes that have a lot of talk and side plots that just keep building and this episode gives us that whole experience we've been waiting for. Over an hour of brutal battle. No spoilers but man is it good. It is really intense! They did a great job!!!
Hell and Back (2015)
Oh boy, what a turd
I love nick and tj. They are legends in comedy and the only reason this is getting a 2 is because the animation is cool and the actors are in it. Now the story, script and delivery are beyond awful. I enjoy dumb movies now and then for a laugh and not having to take it too serious. However, this movie from the get go sounds like a 13 year old tried writing a script for his dad who owns a big studio. It's really really not funny. Every line is legit cringeworthy.
Cabin Fever (2016)
Why did they try to ruin a great cult movie?
I don't write many reviews but I was curious when I heard they made an almost shot for shot/line for line remake of this movie. And they BUTCHERED it! The acting is worse than a B level acting team. They found a way to make every line incredibly flat and unconvincing. It pained me to watch this and I am offended by everyone who had a part in this. The original was a weird but fantastic movie, this was an insult.
Cargo (2017)
Really clever journey
Nothing 100% original but for sure a great approach and twist on the zombie genre. Low budget without looking like it. Intense, suspenseful and depressing at times. Very much worth a watch.
Hot Bot (2016)
Weird Science gone WRONG!
Sometimes I enjoy silly movies on my laptop playing in the background while I play a PS4 game on my TV and don't need audio(ADHD? YES!) and only need to pay half attention....this movie is semi-watchable, and I've seen much worse...this film is not memorable...unless you really want to challenge yourself in discipline... Although there are plenty of named actors and semi-stars you've heard of and seen before, they lead you to thinking, "How much were they paid? Was it worth it?". It is a VERY BASIC remake/re(IMAGINING) of Weird Science, (Which is not amazing!...but very enjoyable in viewing with full attention!)
...also any movie that starts the description stating A HILARIOUS COMEDY.....You should be wary off the bat...GOOD LUCK!
