The Last of Us: Long, Long Time (2023)
One of the unexpected gems in TLOU.
Bill & Frank's love was so real and tender in contrast to the calamity of what's going on around them. I understand there are people out there that can't grasp the fact we are in 2023 and need to get over the gay hate. This episode had perfect acting, connectivity amongst the two leads. And intricately weaving Joel & Ellie throughout the episode. People need to watch for them before they cast judgement. Kudos for using Long Long Time by Linda Ronstadt. Classic revivals are on the rise and this show has capitalized on rhat. Keep watching and don't give up. Four episodes and I'm an anxious mess!
Slumber Party Massacre (2021)
Pleasantly surprised
I wasn't expecting much going in but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how entertaining the movie was. I like the new approach they took, kudos to the director.
Fear the Walking Dead: Leave What You Don't (2019)
Where's Mo Collin's credit!?!
Mo came out of left field for me in terms of a character I WANT TO LOVE!
Girlhouse (2014)
Finally a semi-great watch!
Do not listen to anything negative about this movie. Yes like almost every horror movie it has flaws but that doesn't stop it from being entertaining. Sure it won't be winning any awards but that doesn't mean a thing. It's part voyeuristic part throwback 80's slice n dice 'em with T&A and enough storyline to keep the movie going at a decent pace. GIRL HOUSE! I thought the killers mask was creepy enough alone. The lead (Ali Corbin) and her boyfriend(Adam DiMarco) definitely kept the movie "believable"...best $12.99 I spent on a horror movie in a long time! It has a few quasi famous faces in it as well. OK OK OK I'm gong to stop blabbering now and let you see for yourself.
