Bring It On: In It to Win It (2007)
Bring It On!!!!
The first time I saw this movie was when I was at my friend's house. She's a huge fan of cheerleaders and so she loves the'Bring It On' movies a lot. At first when the movie started, I had no interest to watch it. But soon as I saw the dancing, the battle on the competition, it really got my attention. The story is not hard to follow cause it's about two great squads of cheerleaders, the West High Sharks and the East High Jets. They have competed in many cheer leading championships. One day, they end up in the same cheer camp call Cheer Camp Nationals. Many things happen between these squads including romance. The Captain of the Sharks, Brooke, falls in love with a man who is actually one of her biggest rivals, Penn from the Jets. Carson, the Captain of the Jets hate it and she tries everything to separate them. She steals a Spirit Stick which is a sacred thing in the cheer leading world. The one who lose the Spirit Stick will be in bad luck for the rest of their lives. It's not good for the Sharks cause when the Spirit Stick disappear, Brooke is the one who keep it. Bad things happen to the Sharks but they still don't want to surrender. They make a secret battle with the Jets which unfortunately caught by the judge. Both squads are dismissed. Brooke who has the most spirit to win ask Carson to join the squad. She thinks if they are together they'll be perfectly strong. Things don't work at first, but with patience and courage they have succeed and won the Championship. I really recommend this movie to anyone who loves to cheer leading!!!
Big Fish (2003)
Big Fish
I think the best part of this movie is the story itself. It might seem unbelievable but the story is still easy to follow. It's about a man named Edward Bloom who has many great adventures in his life which becomes a story that he tells a lot to people. He has met a witch when he was a child, he has been friends with a giant, and he has done any other adventure that many other people won't even think to do. Everybody loves his story except his own son, Will, who thinks that his father's great adventure was all a lie. He has never even spoken to his father for years. Edward has been told and retold his stories since Will was still a kid for many many many times that Will can hardly remember all of it. But he still doesn't know when his father is telling the truth or telling fantasies. Edward grows older and older and older and he get sick. His wife tells Will to come home and since then things has started to get better between Edward and Will. In the end, Will has became a great storyteller of his father's adventure.
I think the story is fantastic although it may seem too impossible to be true. I highly recommend this movie because once you watch it you can get moral values from it. You can learn many things about life from this movie.
