The Siege (1998)
Liberal Propaganda
This movie started out fantastically. It was realistic. The FBI was doing what would take place in real life.
Then this whole martial law thing came into affect.
The movie then took a horrible spiral downwards. It became more BS, made by liberals, the typical "freedom of religion," we have "rights."
THE STUFF THAT HAPPENED IN THIS MOVIE WILL NOT HAPPEN. And they aren't happening. We learned our small mistake with the Japanese in camps.
But, it offends me when people compare what we did the Japanese to the Jewish concentration camps in Europe. And the ones made for the Chinese in Japan and China.
Just more propaganda from the liberals of Hollywood.
Australia (2008)
Horribly Long
In the end I truly enjoyed this epic. But, the first hour and half s of the three hour long film could have been summarized in a mere 20-30 minutes. This sometimes painstakingly long film, started off very slow. Nicole Kidman's character was way too much, and the movie was too cheesy at first. There is no way that Kidman's character could be so weird and annoying at first and end up the way she does. It isn't humanly possible. But, in the end I really enjoyed this movie, But it could have been much shorter. The young child in the movie was very good and you really enjoy his character. Same goes for Hugh Jackman as the Drover. Australia starts off in a very cheesy, typical, bad movie fashion. But, come the end it was fantastic. I do think that the WWII aspect of it could have been hyped up a bit more though.
The Way of War (2009)
Cuba Gooding Jr. Deceived Us, A Waste of Time
An absolute waste of an hour and half, that I will never get back. A darn shame. Instead I could've watched paint dry or watch my dog chase squirrels in the backyard. I expected this confusing and poorly put together movie to be good due to the fact it starred Cuba Gooding Jr. It also had some impressive role players in the film, yet they couldn't get it done. Just absolutely lame. The movie kept flashing back and forth between the past and present. The indicators it was a flashback weren't very good at all. They wanted you to feel for David Wolfe, Gooding Jr.'s character, and connect with him the way you do with, say Jason Bourne. But you just don't, this kind of knock of Bourne-in-a-sense character was just pathetic. Save yourselves don't watch this atrocity.
