Pass me the rusty butter-knife, I need to slit my wrists and make it hurt lots...

With the exception of "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace" - I can honestly say that HULK is the WORST superhero flick I have EVER watched!

I feel like Ang Lee has cheated me of 137 Minutes of my life which could have been better spent picking bits out of my toes.

Go rent X-Men or Spiderman if you wanna watch a superhero flick.

This has to be the WORST cartoon spin-off in the HISTORY of TV/Cartoon tie-ins. Set years into the future from the original StarGate SG-1 series, this first episode opens with the lamest opening music since time began. The animation is cleared drawn by colour-blind monkeys with felt-tip pens placed between their toes.

For christ sake, what were you people thinking with this complete and utter waste of air-time.

The only time this will play in my house again is to punish my children.

Now He-Man, ReBoot and Thundercats are REAL cartoons.

Write that down!

Being a fan of the original adaptation (Michael Manns' "Manhunter") I was interested in how a bigger budget/bigger name version would compare.

I have to say, "Quite Well".

Hopkins, once again gives an excellent performance as Doctor Hannibal Lecter which seems darker and more on par with "The Silence of the Lambs" than the lack lustred and somewhat hammed up "Hannibal"

Ed Norton is teriffic in the role of Will Graham, but seems not as disturbed as the character played in the original by Bill Petersen.

The film is well paced, gets a little draggy in the middle, coming to a spectacular finish which is not spoiled by already knowing the ending from the book or from Manhunter.

All in all - scarey as hell and LOVED the touch on the closing scene with Hannibal... actually made me laugh.

I think that the Hopkins/Lecter story-line is nicely tied up in this (now complete) Trilogy.

It would be a shame to make another Lecter film.
