Atomic Blonde (2017)
Boring
Mostly boring, one good fight scene. Spying part is terrible. Characters are non present. Everybody is unbelievably too cool to really provide the connection to story.

Can not believe positive reviews here must be some other movie they've seen
People here must be smoking something. This movie is unwatchable. I could not finish it. It is boring, terribly put together. Fight scenes are fine, everything else pain to watch.
Glass (2019)
Another superhero movie now with a twist
Great McAvoy acting, otherwise neverending bs about superheroes in mental institution. Opening music is good though, but that's about it. If you have to explain story at the end with a dramatic speech, you did something wrong. You betrayed cinematic storytelling.
Liu lang di qiu (2019)
No real storytelling present
Simply megalomaniac production. Story made from the book keeping template in the excel.
Under the Skin (2013)
Unbelievably well made strange dream
This movie makes you think really hard about what it is trying to tell. While obviously, it is only trying to tell the story. The story that captures zeitgeist, transforms it into strange sci-fi narrative and combines it with incredible camera. Beautifully made, well played, incredibly dark and hypnotic. Not to forget the sound, work with the sound in this movie is beyond any standards, but it explores new and experimental, while still providing mysterious, simple ambient/drone/m. concrete masterpiece on itself.
It's dreamlike quality forces you to understand better the inner workings of actual reality and see the world with the ever wondering eye of an alien entity that is only comprehensible by its intelligence. Intelligence that is waning under the stress of being questioned by the ceaseless and shapeless sensory input.
Prometheus (2012)
Not bad at all
I like the movie and do not share the objections of those who know exactly what would proper scientists do in such situation. Orbiting, examining, protocols and so on. But they were no scientists, rather some pseudo scientific adventurers hired by some crazy rich entrepreneur. And that is what would entrepreneurs do. Use the science to get more, risk life for a profit, value themselves more than others. I think there is the point most of reviewers didn't get. Movie is not polluted by contemporary routines like horribly fast editing, incredibly dumb pseudo intellectual bullshit, nauseous camera, and super cool ZING sound design and that is a plus. I like story telling and cast. It was a nice movie.
