Monster Man (2003)
Surprisingly funny
If you took a really good jack black movie, added a little jeepers creepers, and then a dash of joyride with a hint of texas chainsaw massacre and house of a 1000 corpses...you would have MONSTER MAN! i went into this movie, not really expecting much at all, but i wound up really enjoying the movie. the whole premise is really cheesy, a monster man in a monster truck chases down people, but it is so funny that the writer/director doesn't expect you to take it seriously. justin urich is a comic gem and should have a very promising career. he is identical to jack black. the only problem with the film is the unbelievable hero role played by eric jungmann. but overall, if you are looking for a really really fun movie that will crack you up until you are rolling in the aisles, and at the same time, scare the crap out of you...check out this film.
The Haunted Mansion (2003)
A ride worth taking!
I was personally not a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean. That movie put me to sleep twice. But i was always a huge fan of the ride. Likewise, i love the haunted mansion ride, but was a little skeptical to see the movie. I finally saw it and thought it was very entertaining. I don't really know what Eddie Murphy is doing with his career lately because it is evident this film will not do well with critics or profit, but it was still a good film. Awesome special effects and very funny scenes along with a good mysterious plot provided for an altogether worthwhile film.
The Cat in the Hat (2003)
You'd have to be pretty mindless not to like this film!
Anyone who didn't like this movie takes themselves far too seriously in life and should just die now. How could you hate on Mike Myers for doing this film. Going through the trouble of doing all of the makeup and screening to become the Cat and then have the audience hate it. It was an all around fun movie. Of course it was silly...what do you expect from a movie with a six foot cat as the star? But all in all this was a rather good movie. Not nearly as good as the Grinch, but still enjoyable.
Scary Movie 3 (2003)
It's the AIRPLANE of the new millenium
This movie as hilarious. I saw it with my girlfriend and she couldn't stop laughing. I thought that it would be very dumb and honestly the only reason that we saw it was because it was free, but this film wound up way surpassing my expectations and proving that stupid humor is still very much alive. Everyone who has ever acted is in this film and there are so many crazy plot points that i can't really give you a summary but i can tell you that although the film only achieved the dreaded PG-13, the film was still very funny. Toning down on the sick humor that made the wayans bros. such a hit and limiting the language to a single usage of the "f" word, the film still went to max on humor in very different but yet very creative ways. Definetely see this film!
Simon Sez (1999)
NEVER SLANDER DANE COOK!
Okay, for the sake of this review i would like to first excuse the fact that Dennis Rodman cannot act...ever. But Dane Cook is absolutely hilarious. Anyone who is a fan of his standup will not be dissapointed. Anyone who has never heard of him is an idiot and should go online and download his comedy rite now. There are also some totally rad pre-matrix moves and action scenes in this film that make it thouroughly cheesy and yet very enjoyable. Go for it!
Swimfan (2002)

Ice Age (2002)
UNBELIEVABLY HILARIOUS!
Take the formula for buddy pictures like Toy Story and Monsters, Inc and then add talents like Ray Romano, Dennis Leary, John Leguizamo, and Jack Black and what do you have...a extremely funny family film. John plays the site-splitting dumb sloth who will have you rolling in the isles for the entire film. A must-see for anyone who enjoys the buddy animated films. Something that everyone can relate to.
MY RATING 8.5/10
Turbulence (1997)
INSANE!
It takes a real love for film to appreciate this title. The real power point here is Ray Liotta delivering one of his most memorable roles to date. Playing an insane serial killer he is a manipulative and terrifying villian for the ever beautiful Lauren Holly. A well made tense action film.
