Worth watching
19 November 2022
Underrated movie. No rewinds were needed during viewing. Uwe.made it again. Seriously. Still can't understand why so many people are.so.prejudiced.

Not sure if Uwe had to make or decided by himself to make movie about german boxiing hero. Don't understand me wrong - Max Schmeling is not a masterpiece, but I wasn't bored watching it a bit. Boxing movies is not a really my cup of tea but if it's yours - give this movie a chance, Is the scenario perfect ? No. Would i change something to make this movie better ? Sure. Maybe it was a little bit too short. Some characters had no time to be deepened and maybe some of them had to be eliminated. Anyways... Decision is yours - take it or leave it.

Scrach on the surface of the iceberg
13 April 2019
This movie is only the little scrach on the surface of the iceberg. Nobody on top will accept nor finance movie with any deeper thoughts or hints to what's going on the upper echelons of politics. Anyway... to tell something what will not squeeze through conspiracy free "guardian of democracy" and "church" of free speech news media is almost revolutionary act.

What genre wannabe ?
23 September 2017
This movie doesn't know what it wanna to be.

Musical ? Hell no. Just too much background music all around beyond belief. Action ? Only few first minutes. Thriller. Nope. Just the traces. Crime ? Could be but just misses the point along the way. Drama ? Errr no. Character as shallow as water in the glass. Comedy ? Nope. Too many people shot without thinking twice.

Just not worth your time.

You'll find here more than you thought you could
21 May 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Pure Shakespearean themes of love, life, death and hope in this movie.

Colossal corner stones of our existence. Inexhaustible themes for many and any kind of art. Purpose of life and immortality of soul.

Is a beauty in tragedy ? Can be life after death of love ? Can time heal the wounds ? Is the grieving man insane or we all around him ?

You can find those answers and much more in this movie if you look deep really deep inside yourself and ignore b**ls**t of lies, swagger, pretending and all other things we learn while growing up. Open your eyes and listen to your heart.

And the final question.

Were those 3 hired actors real or love, time and death really came to help this poor little fellow come back and believe in life again.

I'll leave you with this open question.
