Epiphany: Il inferno (2002)
Positive words in general
An effort of love by these honest "indies" that take their work no less serious than the big boys in Hollywood. Overall quality of the filming, pacing, and flow of awareness held this feature together nicely. This crew obviously has brought the "big screen" feel to a small budget film. It's unusual to find such careful set preparation and skillful editing on a small film like this. However,it is that attention to detail that lets you relax and just the the storyteller tell the story. Take a look at this one if you can find a screening at a local art festival or a autumn film festival.
So much for the look and feel; now the watching experience. I really don't want to predispose anyone to "my" experience. I'm not a professional film critic. I just know that I like some films better than others and my reasons seldom align with the masses. So I will leave the reader to seek out this film, enjoy the quality, and experience your own private set of emotions as you follow the main character on her quest. You won't be disappointed.
