Good horror movie!
27 September 2010
Warning: Spoilers
This is the only movie with "Hanoi Jane" Fonda that I have in my movie library. One reason is that it's a damned good horror movie. The other reason is that Jane has a "happy ending" in this movie. See the movie and you will see what I mean! For some reason it is only on video in French language with English sub-titles. What happened to the English-dubbed version? All three stories are nice and creepy but "William Wilson" is my favorite. And Bridgett Bardot makes that story even better! "Hanoi Jane"'s story is pretty good too, though it's kinda weird to have her own brother, Peter, playing the man she wants! I won't even talk about the horse part! The last story is well done in Frederico Fellini's usual weird style. Sure worth watching if you like them scary!

The Anna Nicole Show (2002–2004)

If you have money use it to help others, not destroy yourself.
20 July 2008
With all her money, why in the world didn't Anna Nicole think to buy that toothless cousin of hers some teeth? Even when she gave her a makeover she didn't think of that! Also maybe her dog would not have tried to have sex with stuffed toys if it had been fixed! But anyone think if that? NO! Movie stars make me sick, they could help so many people and do so much good with their money, yet most of them can think of nothing to use it for except for drugs, booze, and partying! Shame on them! Yet I do feel a great deal of pity for Anna Nicole, she thought fame and fortune would bring her happiness, and she had to learn the hard way that they do not. It was for people like her that Jesus Christ died for.

As a Kid I loved this movie and I still do!
30 May 2008
Why are some people so down on this movie? I saw it when I was only 7 or 8 years old and I loved it. I was already a fan of the 3 Stooges and I found this a great change from their usual slapstick. I even thought Joe DeRita was Curly Howard, they looked so much alike. What I don't understand is that often the Stooges were attacked by critics who claimed they were not funny, that all they did was hit each other in the heads. Yet for once they made a movie in which they did less hitting and played up fantasy, romance, and adventure instead. And then the critics complained that they did not do enough! It just goes to show you can't please everyone. All I can say to the people who hate the Stooges, if you don't like them then go watch something filthy on Comedy Central. I say the 3 Stooges rank right up with Laurel and Hardy as classic comedians. God bless them for bringing me so much happiness as a child!

Where is this Wonderful Family Movie?
6 May 2008
This great warm adventure film about a little boy and a pirate shipwrecked on a deserted island is a joy to watch. Pedro Armendize can play a pirate almost as good as Robert Newton. Terry Rango is also good as the little boy and Robert Palmer plays him grown up. When I was a kid it was shown on most of the local TV channels and was even shown twice at my local theaters as a kiddie matinée. It was released by a major movie company, 20 Centry Fox. But now it is not shown anywhere that I know of, neither has it been released on video or DVD. Why? Who is holding it back? Parents everywhere, write or e-mail Fox and the DVD companies and request it's release. Today's children don't know what they are missing. At long last you can watch it online. Now please, please release it on DVD!

This a lovely Adventure and Love Story
5 May 2008
It is really sad that some wonderful little films are overlooked and this is one of them. It's one of the best Italian adventure films I have ever seen. It's done with a touch of humor with good swordplay thrown in for good measure. I saw it years ago on TV and it was the English-dubbed version. I'm not sure if it ever played on the theaters in the U.S. Set in the 1600's Europe, it's about two warring families who decide to end their differences by having two of their offspring's marry. However, a pretty, tomboyish girl, played by an Italian actress named Anna Maria Ferrero, is herself in love with the groom and does every thing she can to break up the arranged marriage. Without spoiling anything, I will say this movie leaves you with a good feeling. Ms Ferrero is a girl that any red-blooded man would want to take into their arms and love and protect. Sadly this movie is hard to find on video. However, you can get a copy of it from atlasvisuals.com But it is in Italian only and no subtitles. Hopefully, the English-dubbed version will be found.
