South Park: You're Not Yelping (2015)
Best anti-goof propaganda since the last episode
I never read reviews of TV shows, let alone write them, but I made an exception for this specific episode because I had a gut feeling that the same kind of self important people who are regular Yelpers would be the same kind of people who leave episode reviews on here. And I imagined this episode would rustle their jimmies, leaving them with a bad taste of come in their mouth.
Looks like I was right. If you frequently leave self important reviews online, if it's not something you do just once in a while for fun, please take a long hard look in the mirror. What is that between your teeth? Come.
OXV: The Manual (2013)
I have a new Top 3 favorite movie
This is the best movie I've seen in years. Everything is brilliantly conceived and executed -- from the script, to the cinematography, to the casting, to the acting.
It's one part science fiction; one part existential philosophy; and two parts, the mad connect-the-dot ramblings of a drug-induced psychotic break.
Director Darren Paul Fisher pulled off the combination -- which I refer to as Sci-Phil -- as brilliantly as my favorite director, Darren Aronofsky.
Hmm... they're both named Darren. I think I see a pattern beginning to emerge.
Fred Penner's Place (1987)
My fondest forgotten TV show
Loved this show as a kid, about 18 years ago. I always had a vague memory about the show, and could never find information about it. Thank you for helping me find this, IMDb users! From what I do remember about the show, at the beginning of each episode, a guy crawled through a log to get access to a secret clearing in the woods. There, he would play his guitar and sing songs. The show aired sometime in the 80's and perhaps early 90's.
By any chance, does anyone remember a show which would air around the same years as this show where there was a woman walking around with a net. I can't remember if she was catching bugs or animal watching. Does this ring a bell for anyone?
