The Wolfman (2010)
4/10
Awful movie.
12 January 2024
I watched bits and pieces of this movie years ago and didn't care for it. Someone had it on again recently and I remembered again how much the movie sucked! Del Toro is such an odd pick as Lawrence/Wolfman. He is so boring, one dimensional and brought nothing redeeming to his character which made it hard for me to watch. The CGI was just awful and something you'd see in a low budget movie but this movie was made for $150 million so there should be no excuse! The werewolf fight scenes were awful but hilarious to watch! Boring movie all together and a total flop! I didn't care for any of the characters especially Del Toro's.

Didn't care for it.

Warning: Spoilers
I watched this movie on my day off and I was expecting a bit more. From the beginning this movie was trying too hard to be overly suspenseful. A lot of the characters constantly staring at each other in suspense for the first half hour of the movie before it really got going. That got annoying very quickly because I already got the hint something sinister was going on in the first five minutes. There were some scenes in the movie that didn't make very much sense to me. For instance, if the lady did not want anyone knowing she kidnapped the daughter, then why would she leave a picture of her up in the dining room for anyone who comes in to see?! Another scene was the older brother acted so overly rude and pushy in so many scenes to the lady it irritated me. I know he is a criminal and was nervous but as a criminal he should know to wear a better poker face especially after the lady saved his life. Him and his younger brother probably could of been in and out of that place with less suscpison had he acted a bit nicer and not had to take his stupid gun out. Because he took his gun out so fast it created unneeded chaos and the death of a police officer which was poorly covered up by the lady. I think the dumbest and most laughable scene was when the father to the kid who died in the car crash randomly shows up with his partner to the lady's house and they have a gun battle, they could of kept that scene out of the movie! The end of the movie seemed a bit unrealistic. I'd recommend watching only this movie if you are bored.

Nice movie to watch on a rainy day.
2 November 2022
I loved Aly and Aj since I was young so that's why I watched this movie. I think it's a nice little indie movie to watch on a lazy rainy day. It's a calming movie. The first time I watched it I didn't care too much for it but I watched it again and it grew on me a bit. I admire their honesty and sexual maturity from what we are used to seeing from them so if that means swearing and sexual scenes it works. It was a very vulnerable semi autobiographical movie they did that touched on family, friendships and relationships. I had a bit trouble understanding what they were saying in some scenes because it was hard to hear. I loved the song "Boy" that they played in the movie they are actually real musicians. The crying at the ending was so real and really hit me and never fails to show me how talented they are.

Boring And Bad!
29 November 2020
This was not just boring but bad! Acting was awful and the pacing is slow! When the "mysterious" storyline finally does begin to unravel it's laughable it's so bad! I couldn't even fully process what exactly happened at the end it was just so out there!

What did I just watch?!
18 November 2020
I have no clue what I just watched? Is this supposed to be a horror/comedy or what?! It definitely threw me in for a loop as I started watching it and it got worse each minute. Anyways if it's meant to be a horror comedy than it could get away with being more than a one star rating but if it's just meant to be strictly a horror film than I wish I could give it less than a one star! What did they do? See how many random things they could jam into one movie?! It had so many random things going on all the way from the characters to the plot it was just a cluster of "what the heck did I just watch?!" It was like they put two different movies into one. This whole movie was mess. The big black "green mile" looking gardner guy was so laughable just there for no reason adding in his one liners. The only consistent thing about this movie was it had water in it which is probably why they must of used their brains just once on the name of this movie. This is definitely one of the most bizarre films I've ever watched!

Who is this Jason Statham knock off?! It took me several days just to finish this movie it was so bad! Every minute that went by had horrible acting and lacked common sense. An hour and a half of my life I can't get back! I warn you not to watch!

Started off good then just got dumb!
26 October 2020
It started off good but then later on it just got dumb! I really loved the two interracial love interests (that is what initially drew me into watching the movie) they were cute together. But.... Unfortunately this isn't a romance it's more of a suspense/horror film which made everything weird. The acting got pretty bad towards the end. The ending was confusing and kind of sucked!

It was pretty bad!!!

Random ice cream truck serial killer dude giving 1940's vibes in a modern creepy stepford wives suburbia! Where do I start?! The movie definitely is a low budget horror film where the storyline is just bad and all over the place! You'd have to watch from the beginning to the end (if you make it that long) and you'll be second guessing yourself with "What the hell did I just watch?!".

Really bad!
18 September 2020
Never in my life will I find humor in the Holocaust or slavery and the jokes about them in this movie weren't funny but more disgusting. I don't know how anyone can laugh at a person pretending to be a kkk member or a Nazi! With that being said don't bother wasting your time on this one. There's a lot of nudity which I didn't mind but if I could of turned down the sound to zero and not have to hear anything I would of much preferred that!

This Is Paris (2020)
5/10
Left me still wondering who the real Paris is!
16 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It seemed at the beginning we may finally be getting more insight about the real Paris but further on into the documentary you see that she's really not that much different from her dumb blonde alter ego (I'm not saying she's dumb). We see her natural voice is actually a bit deeper, she suffers from insomnia, she's more of a tomboy at heart and she has nightmares but that's about it. We find out she was sent to a series of strict boarding schools during her partying phase as a teenager which she tends to blame on mostly all her problems later in life. I had a lot of trouble believing one of the strict boarding schools she was sent to had her in solitary confinement just staring at a wall for 24 hours and that they beat the crap out of her when she was disobedient as she stated. She says she doesn't want to be seen as a reality star yet she has the audacity to unnecessarily throw in a bogus relationship and fake acting (which was laughable) in her personal documentary! I'm surprised she talks about how she wants to be a self made billionaire because all the average person needs to hear is a rich person talking about money *sarcasm*. I understand she wants to get more credit then just be seen as riding off her parents money but she was born to wealthy parents and got a huge chip on her shoulder in life and that helped her tremendously. The least thing I want to hear is how she wants more money or how she's never been photographed in the same outfit twice or even how she buys tons of stuff she never wears that just sit in her closet. She partially touched on her infamous s*x tape (which was the main reason she was a household name) but it was nothing that I didn't already know. I think she forgets she's playing a character so much that the character becomes her which she still played a lot in the documentary to the point I really feel like I still don't know who the real Paris is. It's like she acts like she's being forced to stay in her dumb blonde character. She still acts like a little girl that hasn't grown up at heart which she fully admits. I do love how she is always sweet to her fans and how she tries to stay smiling even through her hard moments which I do feel is genuine unlike The Kardashians but through the whole one hour and forty five minute film (which could of all easily of been condensed in less than an hour) I still felt like I really didn't get to see that much of the supposed real PARIS that she made us think we'd see in the promo trailer!

Deadly Class (2018–2019)
4/10
Falls Flat.
16 August 2020
I wanted to give this show a try even though I was fully aware of it's cancellation after it's first season's run. I caught a preview of the trailer on a movie streaming site. They have great characters and a story line to work with but still the producers manage to make the characters and story line fall flat leaving barely any room for success to another season. The pilot was absolutely boring and didn't leave me the least bit excited for the next episodes! The sound quality is awful and you really have to listen to understand what they're saying. I forget this is even supposed to be set in the 80's because the visuals are so modern looking but it's like they just threw in some 80's music and cars and boom it's supposedly the 80's.The plot of each episode is all over the place one minute one things happening and then the next something completely different is happening and it makes you wonder is going on here?! The action scenes and comedy are bland. Master Lin could of definitely been played by Jet Li and I would of found him a lot more believable as an evil assassin. I could go on about how this series had so much potential but it fails to give the characters much substance and I'm only three episodes in and still haven't bonded with any of them. Yes the male lead is very pleasing on the eyes but even that can hardly resurrect the series.
