I understand touch a bit on Covid and Floyd but a whole episode or episodes dedicated to what's going on in the world has made it quite boring.

I thought this was based on a book. Is this the plot. When are they going to get back to the main story or is this just going to be a platform for talking about what's going on in the news.

They have somehow managed to transition from a fictional to a non-fictional show.

I haven't watched it. I hated Tariq, I couldn't understand that he survived so long. And to watch a show with him was a no no for me. Only spinoff from Ghost am looking forward to is Tommy's. Now that's an interesting bad guy.
