The Ringer (2005)
The worst movie I have ever paid to see.
By and large, this is the worst movie that I have ever paid to see at a movie theater, and I'm 27 years old. The script was horrible, the acting was horrible, the dialog was horrible. This movie was just horrible. I went with 5 of my friends, and every one of us wanted to leave half way through the movie. The only people laughing during this movie were high school kids, and sadly, I think they were laughing more at the mentally handicapped than the movie itself. By the end, we were laughing at how incredibly bad the lines were. Don't waste your time or money on this film. In fact, here is a suggestion, wait for it to come out on DVD, and then don't rent it.
Blessed (2004)
This movie is pathetic.
There were so many parallels to Rosemary's Baby that I kept waiting for some huge twist to throw me off, and it just never happened. Not only was the movie extremely predictable, but the acting was pathetic, the writing was pathetic, the directing was decent at best, all in all, this was just pathetic. There was absolutely no character development at all. There is no way that during the filming of this movie Heather Graham said to herself "This is going to be a great movie!" She was so unconvincing that it was almost comical. I seriously cannot think of one redeeming quality. This is the type of movie that you wait for to come out on DVD, and then don't rent it.
Radio (2003)
Based on a true story
I thought this was a really well written film. I've heard of Radio the person before this movie was even created and I can't begin to describe how good Cuba Gooding Jr was in it. It will make the women cry, everyone laugh, and most everyone will leave smiling.
My Boss's Daughter (2003)
Why would they publish this movie?
This movie was so bad that I ended up laughing at how bad the movie was rather than at the lame slapstick crap. Its so nauseatingly slow and it seems like the editors just put a bunch of crap together to make the movie last as long as it did. This is the kind of movie that you should wait for to come out on video, and then don't rent it.
40 Days and 40 Nights (2002)
honest movie
Very few movies anymore can hold my attention longer than 30 minutes, but this one kept me intrigued the entire time. The acting was good, the writing was good, which made the kind-of-hokey-storyline presentable. I rate my movies in terms of DVD buy, and I'll be in the store for this one.
