i just came back from a screening of this film during the film-fest here in Harrisburg, pa and man it took a lot of restraint not to walk out of it. i can't believe i sat through the whole thing. this has got to be one of the worst films i've ever seen. a lot of people were walking out of it but i braved the boredom only to feel that my time was completely wasted. and it had nothing to do with experimental films, of which i've seen many and have loved. this film made ed wood look like a brilliant filmmaker. this movie was pointless and meandering. no plot, which is OK but the whole movie was just a bunch of scenes that really didn't transition well with each other. in attendance at the screening was the films star Taylor Mead which made it a more memorable experience. he even said the film was boring and thanked the crowd for their patience. to me this movie proves that Warhol didn't have much talent when it came to making films. Mead said he liked boring things and didn't want plot, only relationships. well this films shows that very well. i caution anyone who gets the chance to see this monstrosity of a film, be prepared to be bored out of your skull. and another thing, i really got tired of looking at Taylor Mead's butt through the whole film. a young Dennis hopper makes an appearance in the film.

this has got to be one of the most boring films i've ever seen. awful dubbing, characters that you care nothing about. there really isn't much here to praise. though i did like the killer w/his metal arm and nasty needle. it's a wonder what Fulci would've done with the film had he lived long enough. the script, though written by Fulci Daniele Stropa w/work by Argento is far from great. i had more fun doing my laundry than watching this movie. there are far better Italian horror films out there. rent this 1 only if you're a die-hard Fulci & Argento fan. though they've both made much better films than this. i had high hopes after reading the review on IMDb, but now i'm let down.

the book was very scary and disturbing. i can only hope the movie is as well. though i know they made at least one significant change from the book in the movie. i will not reveal it now. but in response to another comment, not all American horror films have nudity in them. i have seen some great horror films that haven't, though the titles escape me right now at 7am. i will get back to you on that. i'm psyched to see this film. i'm not expecting an exact representation of the book, for that almost never happens with book to film adaptations. i have high hopes for Carter Smith. i saw his short film Bugcrush and thought it was very good. anyone interested should go check it out. it's on a DVD compilation called Boys Life 6.

this film has got to be one of the worst films i've ever seen. the only reason i watched it is because it was included on a DVD set of 6 horror films. i think this film had a budget of $5 which they probably got from returning aluminum soda cans.it was probably shot on a really old VHS camera. and the acting, whew! there are definitely no stars in this film. the special effects make the ones you see in a sci-fi original movie look like a blockbuster material. there's no point in even discussing what the film's about. i think they were trying to do a rip off of the blair witch. this film makes uwe bolle look like a genius. and that's a hard feat to pull off. watch at your own risk.

this has got to be one of the worst movies i've ever seen. here is a prime example of how idea bankrupt hollywood is. they have to stop remaking films. especially if it's crap like this. this movie is so lame and absolutely not funny. i have no idea what made winona ryder make this film. i hope she got paid a lot of money for it. this movie is so predictable after the first 5 minutes you know how the movie will end. this movie is worse than windtalkers. and that movie was pretty bad. i highly recommend everyone stay away from this movie
