This movie barely had my attention however I did manage to get a clip of jlaw at 57:28. She really didn't have a "part" per say and I agree with others that she should not be listed in the opening credits. I gave 2 stars for the other actresses and actors.

Droning background music ruined this for me

I'm a movie lover. However I never watch TV series as they bore me and seem never ending, like the music that played in the background from start to finish in this movie. It makes it so difficult to really listed to what the actors are saying. I agree with some of the other reviewers and their detail regarding the quality of this movie and the directing which I think crushed my expectations for this film. I feel a void after watching it where I wanted to be more connected with the victims with more of an understanding of their experiences, and those of the heroes that rose from this event. I am in anticipation of a remake of this story that corrects all the wrongs that this movie had done. I do love the actors and their performances and the real life heroes, and for that I gave it 3 stars.

We couldn't stay awake to watch this. It's a very slow moving movie. We were very disappointed. The acting and photography were believable, not outstanding. The idea for the story could have made for a good movie but the way it was done was very boring. It wasn't the worst movie I ever saw and the quality was good, which is why I didn't only give it 1 star. At the rate the movie was going I was expecting to be dropped when he opened the bilco doors and that to be the end, that's as much as I expected from this movie. We were expecting to be disappointed at the rate it was going. And we were. We cannot relate to the 10 star ratings this movie has received from other reviewers. I had to voice our disappointment with the movie so that other IMDb users who may have similar tastes to us are forewarned before wasting their time viewing this movie. The constant droning music was irritating. I think I developed a headache just from that. This movie did not stimulate me in any way - thought, suspense, musically, nothing. Just a headache and frustration. Please understand this is simply our opinion and may differ from other IMDb users.

This has always been my favorite. A lot of younger kids today don't even know it exists. They tell me "Half-Baked" is funny, but it didn't rank with the constant "tie-in" comedy of BOD. Never uneventful, and the comedy carries on throughout the flick. Similar to Savage's other movie "One Crazy Summer" with Cusack, Demi Moore & Bob-Cat...but BOD is better. Even tho I grew up in the 80's, I really disliked a lot about them. But there have come some great flicks from that era. I more like the 70's and enjoyed the SS Camaro in BOD. Insane quote: "He likes corn"
