The Postman (1997)
Two scenes a classic nearly make
Let me get this straight. I like most bad movies, but other than Soldier and Scuba school by the two Corey's, this is bad. I love the short story, it is a sci fi epic of the human condition. The film isn't. It's about a character, who decides to deliver letters. No offence to any country's mail, but that is not a plot. To my tag line. What saves this film is two scenes. 1) The slow mo kid/Costner grab the letter scene. It takes 10 mins and a statue, that's dedication. 2) Tom Petty being a post apocalyptic Tom Petty, thats cool!!!!!! You can watch it all, and not die, but you can't really like it, and trust me, I tried, cos D. Brin rules
Goodbye Lover (1998)
well!!!!!!!!
Saw this on T.V. That's about right. Only thing it lacked was the words "true life" and "starring Brian Deneheney" to be a true T.V movie.........Horrible. After years of miami vice it gives Don Johnson an excuse to swear and have nudity scenes... Well that was worth it. And as for Ellen appearing...
Runaway Car (1997)
cliche but class
What a movie. From the stereotyped characters to the baby the helicopter and the bridge, this movie is cliche ridden in the extreme. Yet it is compelling because of that. And it has Judge Rienhold in it. This is a must see with a few cans, a few mates, and money riding on what is going to happen next. The only thing I want to know is who did the M.O.T on that car
