The Last House on the Left (1972)
The WORST
I completely agree. This is the worst movie ever. and that's counting Dungeons and Dragons...I watched the Jason X commentary (another bad movie) and they mentioned one of the scariest and most graphic movies of all time was Wes Craven's first movie, Last House on the Left. My friends and I searched video stores until we finally found a VHS copy(before it was released on DVD) and watched it....There's 90 minutes of my life I can never get back. A horrible music score accompanied this movie..so right after someone was raped in a horrible scene, you'd cut to the killers going down the road while a twangy country song called something like "Bonnie and Clyde" played and you just had to laugh at the ridiculity of it all. I guess next time I'll have to take into consideration how credible directors are when they give their opinion of scary movies.
Roundhouse (1992)
cool show from old school Nick
Wow! this is the best example of classic Nick. Surfed on over here from the Newsies page. The cast of this show was so talented (remember the dancing?) This was back in the day of Clarissa Explains it all and Pete and Pete. Pre-Alex Mack and Pre-Spongebob. Honestly a lot of what Nickelodeon does now really isn't up to par. They've geared a great deal of their programming towards 7 year olds. I remember when most of it targeted 11-13yr olds and I loved it. Ren and Stimpy, Old School Are You Afraid of the Dark and Roundhouse were my favorite shows. Ivan and Micki..you're not forgotten!! Anyways, yeah...a bit 'o' nostalgia for y'all.
