Jack of all trades, master of none; have a habit of being in the right place, but, at the worst of times.
In some of my "past lives' I have been: A hippie, Professional Cowgirl, AD and extra in the TV and motion picture business, Chauffeur, a model and a devout member of the House Rabbit Society. (They are my little horses! Such interesting species they are!)
Unfortunately,I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Asthma several years ago and the progression has taken it's toll. Can barely walk and have limited use of my arms and hands. At the moment I am living vicariously by the TV/computer. Keep hoping for the best.
In the meantime, I'm desperately looking for an escape plan back to the west coast, preferably the north west. In the mean time, all I can do is wait and continue to stagnate .... I think I am starting to smell a little "ripe"!

The Hive (2008)
What did you expect, it's the Sci-Fi network!
I don't know why I keep attempting to watch a film made by the Sci-Fi network. Somehow, I think that just maybe this one will be decent. But, as usual, it sucks! When will I learn? You can bet that when you hear the announcement, "An original Sci-Fi film" it will be the usual lame story line. Some painfully bad CGI creation of a killer creature (super sized snakes and reptiles seem to be the favorites) attacking a group isolated, stranded idiots. And when I say "painfully bad CGI", it truly is painful to watch. ("I confess, just turn the channel!") I've seen better effects from the original Nintendo games! What I find even sadder is that some of the stars who sign up for these catastrophes are ones that "I thought" were on the fast track to great careers. Actors like, Stephen Baldwin, Michael Pare, Casper Van Dien & Dean Cane to name a few seem to keep reappearing in these features. I like to think that maybe they new managers or that there is just no quality work going on.
But, you can always count on the Sci-Fi channel to be in production of another low budget cookie cutter flick. I guess you gotta take what work you can get. Unfortunately, I believe that starring in these films is just going to keep you starring in these films. So you can kiss the Oscar goodbye!!!! "The Night of the Lepus", now there's a good cheesy I could enjoy over and over again. And that starred Janet Leigh, Deforest Kelly and Stuart Whitman.....what bet did they lose?
Jurassic Park the Ride Trailer (1997)
Very realist! A frightening emotional and physical roller-coaster!
I went on the ride when it first opened at Universal Studios, Hollywood. The long line was worth the wait, watching the survivors exiting alive! Get a Lemonade slurpy first to beat the heat while waiting, they are the best in the world! It starts out a very serene boat ride with friendly long necked brontasauras popping in and out of the water to munch on plants. As you continue it gets darker w/ emeinent doom nearing. Spitting lizards and other carnivores start to show themselves, popping out of no where. Suddenly you find you have floated into a concrete cage that "who knows what" has obviously escaped from. A Jurassic tour jeep falls over the side of the wall, stopping half way, dangling over head. You head into the darkened cave where suddenly the "escapee" appears over head barely missing you. Suddenly you are rushed into the daylight making your escape plummeting over a waterfall! It is a rush from the beginning to end! You will never get so wet in your life!
