The Spectacular Spider-Man: Natural Selection (2008)
Still great
The third episode continues to maintain a high level of quality. The story with the lizard significantly influences the life of Peter Parker, and even makes him think about giving up a superhero career; this will also affect the formation of Venom in the future.
And again, the animated series leaves me no chance for any criticism, since everything is flawless. Curt Connors here, as always, is shown to be an excellent person, and the lizard is a formidable opponent. Peter continues to defeat his opponents with intelligence rather than brute force. I would give it a ten if it were another animated series, but here every episode is done with dignity, so only.
The Spectacular Spider-Man: Interactions (2008)
The plot develops rapidly
The second episode is even cooler and more eventful than the first. The story of Electro is shown perfectly, the motivation of the villain is clear, you clearly cannot envy him. Meanwhile, Parker's personal life is even more interesting to watch; I like how Peter's superhero life intersects with his ordinary one and directly affects it. The life of a superhero is quite clearly divided into episodes, each with its own villain. And personal life develops gradually throughout the entire animated series. Thus, it is difficult to tear yourself away from watching it, because you want to know what will happen next.
The Spectacular Spider-Man: Survival of the Fittest (2008)
Spectacular start
A great start to the animated series. Many characters who will become iconic villains in the future. And in general, the animated series immediately shows that the most interesting is yet to come. But at the same time, everything looks quite holistic, each character is in its place, the plot does not feel overloaded, since at the beginning it is difficult to understand its scale. Many people criticize the art, but I liked it, the action here looks very exciting. Despite the simplicity of the drawing, the character of each character is clearly visible in it. There's nothing to criticize the first episode for, but I can't rate it higher than 8.
Iron Man (2008)
This is where mcu began
Iron Man is a near-perfect comic book movie that introduces us to Tony Stark in unmatched style.
His origin story is almost entirely true to the comics, but told in more detail and realistically. The film perfectly portrays the character of Tony and his surroundings, all the characters are well developed. You really empathize with the hero during his time in Afghanistan and during the final battle, even during the rewatch, and this is exactly what many other comic book movies lack. I like how the scenes of creating costumes, testing them, etc. Are shown here, it gives the film realism and shows the hero is not omnipotent. Overall I think this is a well deserved 10/10.
