beautiful movie
6 June 2003
many films nowadays seem to lack depth and feeling, but not so with The End of the Affair. Beautiful film and the lead characters were great... Julianne Moore was wonderful as the trapped and doomed Sarah and i have to say that though Ralph Fiennes is usually wooden in movies (great on stage though) in this movie, his acting is pretty convincing. It was a fairly emotional movie and i cried to the end! watch it!

beautiful dance numbers
19 April 2002
The dancing alone, in this film is enough to make up for what's lacking in this film...pablo veron maybe a incredible tango dancer, but in this film, his attitude towards everything else can only be summoned in one word:The Male Ego.... he is insecure, and his relationship with sally is one of the most unfinished one i've ever seen, or heard about!..but as i said before..the tango makes up for everything else..makes me feel like hopping over to the nearest studio, offering tango lessons!

this is a beautiful film...about two strangers meeting on a train..sort of like serendipity...both intending to go different directions, but by sudden impulse. decide to spend one day and night in vienna together... julie delpy and ethan hawke are incredible in the lead roles..both emotionally connecting with the characters...everyone should go and see it!... unforgettable..
