JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time (2014)
Short, but good
The art was interesting, and it didn't fit any of the previous JL movies we've seen. It looked more like Phantom 2040. The story was well written, and I like the unique look of the only 2 LoSH characters we see: Karate Kid and Dawnstar, although Karate Kid looked much more like a character from Avatar, The Last Airbender. Check-it out. I'm glad I own the DVD and enjoyed all 52 minutes of it.
The Immortal Wars (2017)
If i could give a NEGATIVE rating I would
The acting is flat and lacks feeling. The actors express no real emotion. I can't believe anyone would print this and sell this...and I'm sad that I actually bought it. The cover of the DVD looked good. This movie proves that you can't judge a book (or DVD) by it's cover
God's Not Dead (2014)
Excellent Acting, Timeless Message
I watch Christian Movies, because they build my faith. But I often find this genre of movies to be predictable. This movie is somewhat predictable for me, but it's interesting to see how the 4+ different groups of people are tied together. There are several characters that don't seem to be related at all, at first, but by the end you start to see how they are all coming together. You know by the end that many of these characters will come to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, but even then, there are a few twists of faith that I did not expect. All of the actors are EXCELLENT. No matter how you feel about the subject matter, I think you will enjoy seeing Hercules as a self- absorbed professor. I don't have too much to say about this, so that I won't spoil it for you, but I recommend watching it.
