Sister Wives (2010)
This show has changed me... in a weird way
This show is the definition of a ridiculous reality television show and I love it. Kody is so full of it and he does nothing to change his ways. He says that he doesn't have a favorite, but we all know that's not true *coughs Robyn*. Janelle looks so fed up with Kody and personally I wouldn't blame her. When he yelled "ITS LIKE A KNIFE IN THE KIDNEY!" I could not stop laughing even though it was supposed to be a serious conversation. He is the most narcissistic person I have ever seen and somehow it is NEVER his fault. He always tries to pin the blame on someone else just to feel like the victim. The argument that happened between Janelle and Kody was so childish (season 18 episode 3). Kody was acting like a straight up five year old. "You only said gaslighting because I said it." That is a direct quote straight from Kody's mouth.
Is it just me or is Kody's literal OBSESSION with Covid soooo over done? Can he just not say Covid for 5 minutes in a conversation?
And I am getting very annoyed with Robyn and her "tears". It seems like every other interview she just has to cry her tiny little fake tears and hope nobody keeps interrogating her. I hope one day that someone would just tell her to suck it up. Let's be honest, Kody and Robyn are perfect for each other. They both only care about being a victim so nobody blames them, they both are obsessed with Covid, and they both can't handle the kids not listening to them.
I was so happy for Gabriel sticking it to his dad. He needs a social life, he's only a kid. The kids can't be contained from their siblings and any other life. It is so sad how they lived their lives during Covid. I was livid when Robyn started with her baby tears blubbering on about how the nanny got sick and now they are all "exposed" just for spending Christmas together AS A FAMILY. I actually was so sad when they all did "air hugs" when they came for Truely's birthday. I was so sad for Truely for spending her birthday like that. I'm glad Christine got out of there. She now can actually live a normal life.
I know it sounds like I'm complaining, and in a way, I am. But I actually am addicted to this show and I'm excited for more episodes.
Go Figure (2005)
Do you hate parents? Do you also hate kids? Well here you go
Ok, so the movie is about a teenage figure skater having to play hockey to get a scholarship so she can train with her figure skating idol. I'm fine with that. But, the main is so snotty that it actually makes it annoying. Her parents didn't have enough money to send her to the school and she became furious with them.
Also, the "romantic interest" isn't actually romantic whatsoever. It seems as if the creators forced some connection between two platonic people. And the guy seems way older than her so it makes it awkward and uncomfortable. And he is actually her hockey coach (assistant coach, but still weird and creepy).
The movie tries to make you sympathize with the main, but I didn't feel a connection once. Apparently, everybody hates her because she is better than all the other skaters, but I think that from a certain viewpoint that that makes sense. In less than five minutes in the movie she says that it is understandable that everyone is jealous because she is "the best". She is FAR from the best. Although, I don't figure skate so I can't say much, but to be honest, I have seen better.
In conclusion, if you are bored and need some b-rated mindless entertainment then this movie is for you. But if you want to watch a generally enjoyable movie then just watch something else.
