I am in my late thirties, i had many Barbie's when growning up (still have a lot of them stored away, maybe it's time to get them out) and when i heard a Barbie movie was being made, i was like not another dumb remake that will fail like so many money grabs nowadays.

But then i saw that one of my fave actresses, Margot Robbie, was going to portray Barbie herself, i was like wow maybe this could work?

Then i saw the teaser, i was blowm away by all the bright colors, beautiful decors and mostly so happy there was NO and i mean NO CGI of any kind in sight, i was like YES please, i NEED to watch this ASAP.

So when the movie finally came out, it was even better then expected, i love the storyline, i love the interactions between Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, i love that there ar so many different Barbie's representing so many body types, cultures and you can truly be anyone you want to be, like in this movie.

So long story short, with not to many details, why should you watch this Barbie movie? Well it's just pure nostalgia meets modern day issues meets female empowerment.

Not for all ages though given the nature of the story, i would say from 10 years and up, its oke to watch.
